@valiantt:
sigh
Think about the situation (which was poorly planned out to begin with).
You got Chopper, Brook (two characters that are EASILY startled), Momo (who is a child and probably gets startled as well), and Nami (who is the most level headed, but she's the only ONE person). They were taken by surprised by a character that somehow snuck onto the ship and has a completely foreign ability that most likely renders them either disoriented or incapacited (in Brook's case I think).
Imagine they open the door and find the cabin room in a weird artistic mess. What do you think they're reaction would be?
A: Look a random fat lady, let's beat her up!
B: Omg, what the hell happened to our ship? Run around like scared chickens!
If you think they'd would react with option A, then clearly you assume that Chopper, Brook, and Momo are Zoro clones that have an initial inclination to attack any threat (both male and female). But instead, we should all know by now that these two are the most easily impressionable characters of the crew (aside from Luffy and Ussop) that probably freaked out at the sight of the ship which gave the random fat lady a chance to incapacitate them at that certain moment (not to mention she has a sub and probably a fair number of henchmen along with her).
Pathetic? No, it makes perfect sense that it would turn out this way if some random lady appeared on a boat with magical art powers. They're taking the best option which is basically escaping. Makes sense to me.
To get the drop on all characters seems exessive regardless of 2 of them being impressionable, as they are impressionable, not fools. Especially when exactly a chapter before, it shows Franky saying to rely on monster Chopper and Brook… This is a good way to get them to leave the ship and pick up Law's crew. I am still going to wait as I imagine they will make up for it around the end of the arc, but this isn't a good look for those 3 no matter how it's spun.
@bepo:
making buggy a shishibukai is a good reason to not name the poeple who escaped impel down, no new bountys and so
There's really no good reason for me anyways, to make Buggy a Shichibukai. I would have much preferred one of the Impel Down level 6 prisoners to become one. Though this may have very likely been done with the 7th member. Anyways I don't want to keep going on about this topic since he is not part of the chapter, I just think it was a terrible idea to make him part of the organization and turned a decent character into Mr. Satan 2.0.
