Outside of the first part of the episode focusing on the effects of the Shinokuni gas this episode was good. I liked the animation and appropriate build up to key moments.
For the content that was covered, this episode was done nicely. Nice animation as well.
Damn, the opening post didn't gave any stars to the animation director.

The first four minutes were dragged out to Hell and back, but everything after that was very well done.
Art, animation, and music selections were very good. I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy this episode.
The part with Zoro, Sanji, Kin, and Brook running like the wind made my sides hurt. Good comedy moment handled well.

The first half of the episode was SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOW, but the second half was really good I think. Animation got better in the second half too. This is the first time in recent memory the art has consistently been good. Quality episode. Overall, I think Punk Hazard is being handled in the anime WAY better than Fishman Island was.

Pretty entertaining episode. I wasn't expecting much out of it going into it but I ended up pleasantly surprised!. ST was on point for a change and the scene where Zoro and co are running away from Shinokuni was just hilarious! xD
Pretty good overall, even though the beginning was dragged out. I thought the animation of the Shinokuni was done pretty well and there were some scenes that looked damn good compared to the usual.
Next episode shall be very epic
Holy shit was the animation and direction good in this, leagues better than last week's (seriously, last week's was a real low point). The art was also very vibrant and rich in this one for the most part. Lots of well thought out scene direction and dynamic shots in this one. The scenes with Smiley/Shinokuni were among the best in the arc and the scene with the Strawhats running with Kinemon was a riot. The anime team clearly had lots of fun making this one. The Brownbeard filler was also well-placed and appropriate.
I had pretty low expectations for this considering the how little happened in the manga chapter. It had a slow start and a longer-than-usual recap, but once Smiley started transforming the anime team really cut loose.
Would I be going out on a limb to call this episode better than the manga chapter?

Wouldn't call it better than the manga episode. From what I remember, this one was pretty huge when it hit, particularly with the devil fruit appearing. And then this one also ends with great energy. Really excited for the next one.

With that out of the way it isn't it was a very good episode shinokuni realy looked menacing with that speed and effects, the running team was hilarious "running more faster than the wind",lol Sani and Usopp bonding with brownbeard was done well.
And the counter attack is about to start.

I agree, that wasn't good filler. If Sanji has limited force in Nami's body, if Nami was saved by Sanji's body resilence, then she should be able to move that easily using his physical strength…on the other hand, Tashigi didn't seem able to take advantage of Smoker's body strength either shrugs.
But yeah, it was a very well done episode nonetheless.
How about dem Underworld Brokers?
This was pretty good in art, animation and direction. Shinokuni is looking nice and Brownbeard is as great as he was in the manga. I'm eager to see

Ah, yes. That. Thanks for reminding me, I kind of blocked out that part of it. It really makes no sense. Perhaps Sanji's strength is more than just physical as Nami never seemed to do anything very useful in Sanji's body in the manga? But it's still pretty lame that no one even brings that up. Also, that running gag with Usopp being disappointed that Sanji is actually Nami has already gotten stale. Hope they aren't going to try and beat that further into the ground every episode from now.

Well, "Lucci" still looks like the manga panel except the hair isn't quite as poofy. Oddly, that one has no additional detail in the anime that the other brokers seem to have gotten. A mystery man indeed

Amazed at the amount of detail tput into the Shinokuni dispersing animation. The crew running away was handled really well too!
I wonder if Toei had Oda check over those revealing broker shots during production.

Yeah it happens. Even in the manga it wasn't explicitly explained.
Aside from some recycled shots and same-episode flashbacks, this was actually pretty dang good. Smiley's death was handled well and the whole "faster than the wind" scene was comedic gold. Toei actually got to use lazy animation and it fit!
This weeks episode was better than the past few, but they overlooked and ignored an important detail that is pointed out later in the arc.

! I'm going to go ahead and assume that someone's going to point out that he wasn't wearing the helmet part of the suit, so to counter that I'll say that only his head and body underneath the suit should have been affected.
