I just realized if the story is just moved like 1-2 minutes or even lesser in the storyline from the last chapter?
But we've got to know how Sanji figured out DD's trap, Violet's DF, Block C battle about to begin, and etc. Wonderful.
@Croco~Boy:
I wouldn't be surprised if they reveal Mingo's eyes to look like Enel(Waiting for the Mingo surprised face).
!
some one already posted the similarities between this Gorosei's eyes and Mingo's glasses.
So his eyeglasses conceal his heritage/true identity?Always thought that Doffy was some kind of alias, he used for his 'other life'.
funniest part
!
His eyes add to his birdlike appearance. So….. blond gorosei + bald gorosei = Mingo?
Issho is Blind Justice,Kuzan is Lazy Justice,Sakazuki is Absolute Justice…but what about Borsalino? I can already see Blind Justice going in motion next chapter...
Because attacking a shichibukai protected by the WG with ties to the world nobles is suicide. He would lose his position and his actions would be meaningless because the higher ranks would have to undo all he did. He could, at most, stall DD, but going against him would be the same as going against WG orders.
It all depends, He is an admiral, who serves under Akainu and Akainu serves under the WG, we don't know how their relationship is and If Akainu choose this guy to take over DressRosa is because He can do the job in the way that can benefits the Marines/WG but they didn't know what DD did or what he really is but at the moment They both are pretty mad and going with Akainu's sense of Justice I don't think he will let this pass just like that for all we know Fuji can pull a 180 and fight DD or take on Law, which at this point seems more likely but will Fuji stay by and do nothing while DD destroys Law and take away CC, a guy with a 3+ bounty on his head and so much knowledge that can harm the whole world If they let them go freely, I don't think so also I don't think the WG will want to lose another admiral or Fleet admiral for that matter, do you?
I see your point but the revolutionaries are trying to overthrow the WG. By giving them power DD is already jeopardizing his position in the WG. Of course that simple chain of thoughts is not enough for Fujitora to act on his own accord (unless he really doesn't care about his position) but maybe the gorosei might not be as permissive with DD if they knew he was helping Dragon gain weapons and military power.
I don't think DD have any type of deal with the Revolutionaries himself (directly that is) but he have deals with countries that are at war and that means that the revolutionaries are able to take over that country anytime, He may be thinking about money, power and everything else that comes with those type of deals but at the same time he's helping the revolutionaries to take over countries without realizing it or he knows and just doesn't give a f***
he does look extremly mad lol, how did he brake the branch??? df?
we saw his power is some kinda of gravity thing, DF most likely because I don't see a way for Haki do this kind of thing, normal haki that is

Borsalino follows Unclear Justice.
I know it's obvious but was it confirmed anywhere that Fujitora follows the Blind Justice ?
It's probably been said before, but as it stands Fujitora is currently under no obligation to fight Law right now. Law himself is a Shichibukai and the only reason Fujitora was dispatched was because of Donflamingo's leaving the the Shichibukai and Law allegedly allying himself with the Strawhats. With Robin and Usopp nowhere in sight Law is only guilty of bringing a wanted criminal to Greenbit.
I loved the guy with the house for a head in Violet's posse!

No, but in his first scene he followed "looking the other way" justice, so that probably counts.

Except Ceaser is there, with Law, and he can't very well turn him over to Fujitora (who would bring him back to HQ only for him to "escape" using DD's connections).
Also, I'm going to bet Fujitora's going to get a call in the next couple minutes from Sakuzi telling him that Law's Shichi protection is off, courtesy of the Gorosei. That had to be a part of DD's plan.

It hasn't been said or discussed to my knowledge, and it's a fair point, but I don't think Fujitora will simply stand aside. More importantly, Fujitora isn't very happy about Doflamingo going over the Marines' heads, and him hearing Caesar (the wanted mad scientist) refer to Doflamingo as Joker is definitely going to complicate matters. Doflamingo meant to kill Smoker and his crew for learning he was Joker, after all. Edit: pulled RobinotX's image for reference.
Don't know if this was mentioned already, that guy from CP0 looks like Corey's mask (from Slipknot):

Since there was no way I could keep up with this thread to see if anyone else had proposed that idea I figured I should put that disclaimer. You know I actually missed that panel you posted, thanks for pointing it out.
Fujitora definitely isn't happy with the situation and to add on the fact that he may now be aware of Joker's true identity, really could change up Donflamingo's expectations in this situation. While he may not openly oppose him, Fujitora is under no obligation to go along with Donflamingo's plans.
Yeah, I don't think Doflamingo is in anywhere near as powerful a position as he seems to think.
Fujitora has no reason to attack Law. Law has Caeser's heart and can crush it at will. Caeser is not officially part of Doflamingo's crew. Law is under no obligation to deliver Caeser to Doflamingo anymore.
Doflamingo eliminated the Marine response, but didn't turn it into an advantage. He's in the same position as before the Strawhats+Law called him up, except Caeser is right there, and Fujitora might decide that HE will be the one to take him in… plus Law can effortlessly kill him by crushing his heart, ruining Doflamingo's relations with Kaido.

Borsalino is Middle-Way Justice! It was told in SBS!

What are the odds that there will be a poneglyph underneath GreenBit/Dressrosa.So we can know what Kyros truely is. Also I wouldn't be suprised if they reveal Mingo's eyes to look like Enel(Waiting for the Mingo suprised face).
Why the hell would Kyros be mentioned in the Poneglyphs lolll. Are you saying the Poneglyphs have stuff about less than a hundred years ago on them??

He really doesn't?
Oda's based these masks off cool things too, like tribal masks and masquerade masks.
Not….nu-metal....
Some one tell me what the point of cp0 coming to dressrosa and telling the people to act calm and carry on? it is pointless and stupid. The paper would come out at 3 with the correction regardless.why risk your secret getting out?

I agree that Oda uses more than just one source and yeah I see the resembalance to the tribal masks and he did use carnival masks as well. Heck many still want to see Oda's most recognized carnival mask again =Sogeking!
But for the "not nu-metal"…
Well I'll say it.
I know someone will say it and usually we get along decently King, so I'll say it :ninja:
I don't know if they are "nu-metal" or what sort of music they fall into ....
Some see a resemblance between Killer and to the French musician Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo's helmet from Daft Punk, esp in their animated film Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem.
For the record, I don't know Daft Punk so can't say "Killer reminds me of this guy", but I have heard other fans say it reminds them.
Those that do see a resemblance there likely do think that one CP0's mask resembles Corey's.
titles dont really matter you know, Law's DF could react poorly to Fuji ability or viceversa, and we know he cant take on Dofla, at least not with current stamina.
oh god… you think Kizaru can OWN Law + Dofla?
Of course he can , hes a freaky admiral, he even was joking with whitebeard the world strongest man.
I dont understand why admiral are so underrated , I mean akainu practically killed Whitebeard and only took little wounds..

Because Doflamingo being unseated would likely cause chaos in his country. Pretty sure that was what they implied. To avoid social unrest and whatnot.

Based Grandma, Daft Punk, nu-metal
What subforum am I really in
Either Law hand over CC to Fuji say he captured him who's working for DD since none of the strawhats is there. xD or Use his Power take CC heart use that to get away from there. If DD chased after him he could just crushed the heart. But we still don't know which side Fuji will take he still confusing and Fuji should know DD is joker by now since CC call him by that name. DD still warlord which is hard for Fuji to attack but who know which side he will help or stand by waiting for them of them to fight each other or get answer from Akainu. Unlike Garp doesn't give a damn about higher up order, do watever he pleased most of the Admiral or vice always follow order.

Daft Punk nu metal? Oh God, I'd pay good money to hear that, it'd be so hilariously awful. Seriously, though. I'm surprised you've never heard of Daft Punk, seeing as how their song "Get Lucky" is shaping up to be one of the biggest hits of this year.
It makes more sense for Oda to base a character design on Daft Punk than Slipknot, anyway. The movie you mentioned, Interstella 5555 created a sizable Daft Punk fan base in Japan around 2004.

LOL I grew up with classic metal so much of recent years is crap to me :) I hated the speed metal and death metal growing up so if nu metal is anything like those two (as in garbled lyrics that can't be made out X_X) I won't look it up.
Slipknot… I don't like most of their songs but there is a rare few I do. Course, I can't think of them off the top of my head, I'd have to get up and get the 1 CD I have lol. I'm more into symphonic metal right now ... along with a varied other styles totally unrelated to metal. I'm sure some people who see my playlists on YouTube scratch their heads lol. My tastes range from the likes of Kamelot -Tarot- Covus Corax- Nightwish - some of Powerman 5000 to the styles of folk songs, Sea shanties, to 'modern folk/filk' to 'folk rock/metal' to 80s music to some songs I'd not listen to unless they were to AMVs of One Piece or Black Butler XD

yeah saw that it was mentioned a few times in connection to Killer. I only mentioned that movie due to some fans think of that 'connection' (marked as 'this' since there's no confirmation from Oda), so they get into the thought that other masks could be influenced by other music bands.
Didn't the fire breather from Kid's crew also look like a new metal guy?
Is.. is it possible that Oda notice fanfiction made by fan? Cz I swear I read a fanfiction which Sanji's mind infiltrated by Devil Fruit power and is forced to bleeeed
Didn't the fire breather from Kid's crew also look like a new metal guy?
HELLLL no. Kidd's entire crew looks like a bunch of people who exist inside Iron Maiden, Motorhead, and Judas Priest songs. Oda's clearly modeling them after the NWOBHM era.
Didn't the fire breather from Kid's crew also look like a new metal guy?
All of Kid's crew has a metal look to them …and its not "new metal". The leggings - err chaps- Killer wore was common of Heavy Metal. the fire breather is named Heat ...but for the longest time, fans called him Eddie because he reminded many of Iron Maiden's mascot Eddie.
I was a big fan of Iron Maiden (complete with teen girl crush on Bruce) but didn't see any similarities myself. Another OP fan said 'Eddie'/Heat's hair and stiches reminded them of the band's mascot. I still was "hey that's very loose 'similairites tehre', Eddie had the hair in the early days, with less stiches and more mummifies wrinkle look. Later years he would lose the hair and much of the muffifed look and looked like a cut up cavadar, then regrow some hair on other albums but not to same mass of 'wild 80's hair' of early days. [hide]
[/hide]
The other guy, Wire, also dresses in one of the various metal fashions. He has the wild costume with a cape, crop top and fishnet stockings. [HIDE] [/HIDE]
Heck their ship reminds me of some metal band's stages!
[hide] My first thoughts on seeing the skull on deck was a memory of seeing Iron Maiden in concert "Somewhere on Tour" in Dallas, TX lol [/hide]

One Piece isn't the kind of series that would use any Metal made after like 1985. When it got more and more dark and super serious and stuff.
That early 80's late 70's stuff had a certain amount of tongue in cheek, a certain more Franky esque tough guy atmosphere, and a certain more robust energy as opposed to sludgey, angry or depressing.
So yeah, NWOBHM is the One Piece Metal style of choice really.
EDIT: And the firebreathing dude is almost definitely a homage to the Iron Maiden mascot lol

The ironic thing is that while I said I had a hard time seeing it … I still tend to think of his name as "Eddie" instead of "Heat"... lol
Does anyone else think that Doflamingo is a D? I mean, when Roger was talking to Whitebeard, he said people were messing up his name and that it wasn't "Gold Roger" it was "Gol D. Roger". So maybe people are doing the same thing for Doflamingo? It's definitely plausible. After all, if he's based on Donquixote of La Mancha, it'd be fitting for him to be Donquixote D. Of La Mingo.

What are the odds that the Tenryuubito who took a liking to Vegapunk's dragon and the one to whom Doflamingo is connected (whatever that connection may be) are the same person? I certainly can't see any of the known Tenryuubito being interested in Vegapunk's research to the point of actually sailing all the way to Punk Hazard. So that unknown Tenryuubito sounds different than the others.

Even if most people in One Piece aren't based on metal, we can at least agree that this guy:
Was based off of this guy, right?

Haha, very funny. My post was just a wild theory and a thought that I came by. There's no need to mock it. At least I try to contribute to threads, unlike you. I won't even elaborate on why I had this thought to you, only to someone I consider worthy enough to reply more than once to. Unfortunately, you don't fit that criteria. So this will be the end of my responses to you.
Good day.
Playing the Gold Roger / Gol D Roger card a second time would be somewhat lame. And guess what, you can have CoC without the D.
I admit that I thought about what if a D works with the World Government. We would have: The Good, The Bad… and The Beautiful. :ninja:

Roger's case wasn't forgetting the D in his name, it was mainly the WG who was trying to erase the D in his name after he became the pirate king, it was later implied by Kureha when she said "so that's how the called him now" reffering to the name Gold Roger

Was there much to imply that the WG deliberately changed it or is it more of a comment on the nature of legends? A consistent theme of One Piece is how over time details can get lost or changed.
