So I was wondering if anyone else here has seen any of the various series of this franchise (known in French as "Il était une fois…"). I did like what I saw of this series, and the first series', _Once Upon a Time…..Man'_s opening consisting of organ music and the world blowing up witht he words "And then the earth will be gone" is the best of the franchise and is probably one of the most unusual choices for a children's animated tv show opening, especialy from the early 80's.

Then there is Once Upon a Time Space (released in japan in 1984 as Ginga Patrol PJ apparently), which is my absolute favourite. It's plot a driven space opera, and I managed to watch some of it again recent-ish after more having nothing but hazy memories of it from when I was 6. Also Psi is cute as hell.

Yep, mandatory viewing for me back when I was a child. I would be interested in rewatching them now, but I do remember especially loving the one where they teach you the inner workings of the human body. Say, how many ones were made exactly? I`m wondering now if I did catch all of them, because that space one seems strangely unfamiliar.

Yeah, pretty much all the others I was able to catch from time to time over the years but they simply did not show again Space until like last year.

Also only way you could have seen all of them is to have seen the Spanish-only series based on music.
