Yep, I really liked the anime adaptation. I also don't really dislike the fact they are cutting some jokes from manga. People who start reading the manga because the anime may keep reading for extra content. In other news, the ending theme got stuck in my head.

I was thinking a MOB crossover could give Saiki the experience of meeting someone stronger, but I'm not so sure Saiki wouldn't come out ahead in many categories.

Personally, I'm liking the 4 min episode every day. I don't really like to watch the combined 5 episode.
The 4 min episode is a bit rush and they do cut out a lot of details but I enjoy it more somehow. I also love the opening theme.

! Unfortunately,Saiki has yet to meet a psyhic users who is at the same level/stronger than him. But Saiki can never win against Teruhashi somehow…XD
Aside from Reita, there is another esper user introduce later on as a transfer student. She is a fortune teller that can predict the future, locate missing people, read aura etc. Apparently, she & Saiki are supposedly soul mate according to her.
(A transfer student coming in during the new semester is a recurring joke btw. Including Reita, there is 4 of them in total.Another one will be coming again this year.)

It looks like the anime will take a big jump from manga Chapter 53 to Chapter 62. I think they may be trying to fit the ending of school trip arc with the ending of first half of Season 1, but maybe they are just skipping it altogether.

the anime is ahead of the scanlated manga chapters now, but the anime skips a lot of jokes so I'm just gonna keep reading the manga

Damn! So this week is the final week of the Saiki K anime! What a rush!

I actually started watching the subs when it started airing back in July, but got frustrated with the 4 minute format even though it was pretty entertaining. I only recently got back into it after playing Jump Victory VS with my daughter who said she liked the guy with pink hair.

Not only do I find that the weekly episodes were combined into proper 20 minute slots, but also that it's been dubbed in english!! Win Win!

Now don't get me wrong, I love watching anime in Japanese, but when it comes to comedy (like this and Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo), the English only adds to the humor. Additionally trying to get my 6 year old daughter to keep up with subs is challenging!!

Anyway, needless to say, this show has been a blast and i'll probably pickup the manga next week to continue to story! Now bring on the merchandise!! I need a 1/8 model or 1/12 action figure of Saiki!!

so my guess they will cover about the same amount chapters in the second cour

the anime ended but a second season have been announced

currently the manga scanlation is about 40 chapters behind the anime however they skipped a lot of chapters so it's worth it to keep reading the manga
