How does the organization work? Is it funded by Doflamingo? Which pirates are brokers in the new world?

Just to start the thread off, I'll post some cough official sketches from Oda..

This is an awesome thread already simply by the OP's post alone. A shame that the last one can't be Don Krieg and Gin (as much as I would love it to be true).
And if Ohm showed up in the story again…color me absolutely surprised.

Goddamn Oda, tantalizing us with silhouettes that MIGHT not have any particular significance in the story.

At first I thought it would be Apoo since the thing on his head would match up. Even the silhouette's arms looks rather long. But since the box says "In various parts of the New World" and Apoo wracks havoc all over Kidd's hideout that would be rather odd.

I don't think they work as an organization, its much like the real life underground brokers or black markets. They know each other, they presumably know how to reach one another, and I guess they got together on certain bidding offers; and thats basically it. Its not an organization

I think Oda (or the translator) used the term "broker" loosely here. Some are actually end-user (those who would use the merchandise themselves), some are real brokers (those who would resell the merchandise for profit), though some are probably a little bit of both.

Anyway, I certainly don't think DoFlamingo is funding them. He is merely a facilitator, if u will. He simply has the fund to finance CC's research, and the means to get in touch with the big guns in New World, and of course the agenda to simply watch the world burn :ninja:

Even though it is essentially a 95% it isn't Krieg, you gotta admit it would be fitting of his character to be interested in a mass murder weapon.
He was one of the first to begin using weapons that were geared towards killing multiple people at once (MH5). :ninja:

That's a case of "Oda and perspective" I'd say. Also when you look at the background the room seems to have the same architecture.

And of all the possible designs, why have 2 long-haired persons with similar hats?

So, does anyone have that picture of afro-crocodile and mr 1 where mr 1 says "looking sharp, sir!" or the picture when the brokers are looking at the big screens, but instead of showing smiley, the screens are showing buggy, and kid is saying that he isnt FLASHY enough to handle one of his weapons?

Will be thankfull forever if someone has them.

The broker who has a lion-man subordinate reminds me of Seagull, the crewmate of Roger Pirates.

I'm really interested in the bird people. We actually get a Jolly Roger, so they're probably pirates (not necessarily though, Baroque Works ex). There are chains and hooks in the background, and barrels, so they might be on a ship. At first I thought the right guy had two heads, but now I see that the bird-man is standing behind. Psyched about them
