This is a fucking soap opera
I was right there with Pop. Allen obviously fouled Ginobli.
Fucking Refs.
@Nex:
I was right there with Pop. Allen obviously fouled Ginobli.
Fucking Refs.
Seriously. But as the objective observer, I want a Game 7.
Fucking refs indeed.
A damn shame, these refs have to fuck everything up.
Despite that, this was a game for the fucking ages. Lebron woke up as soon as that headband came off.
This game pretty much had everything in it. I wonder if the Spurs have the energy to win game 7.
Lebron literally turned super saiyan.
I hope Spurs win it all tho.
You guys are seriously crying Ref when the Spurs clearly threw this game away?, Lebron almost gave it to them.
Then Pop literally sabotaged the game when he took Timmy out twice on key defensive possessions. TWICE! Worse part is Timmy played his heart out, he almost could taste it.
Tim being on the floor would of negated Lebron's 2nd 3 pt attempt or Ray Allen's right after. He would of totally recovered over Bosh, he's been doing it all series.
Kawai and Parker missing key free throws was a heart breaker.
Then there's Manu , oh Manu….
If and when they lose this series , they'll kick themselves down the line for the way they blew this game.
taking Duncan out in this kind of possessions for quickness and the ability to switch on every screen was Pop's choice all year long. they've been unfortunate for how the ball bounced a pair of times.
still, Allen's 3 was amazing, and the game was one of the best in recent memory.
I LOLed hard at the Heat "fans" who left the building with less than a minute in the 4th and the team down by 5, and were not allowed to get back in when they heard Miami was coming back. Talk about bandwagoners.
I can understand why there was a non-call on the attempted three by green at the end of OT (Bosh basically blocked the ball even though he pushed into Green's body before he blocked the shot), but the Spurs have no one to blame but themselves.
Even though I am all Spurs, anyone who says they would not want to see a game 7 is a fool and not a sports fan
anyone who says they would not want to see a game 7 is a fool and not a sports fan
Couldn't agree more. Even though there were 4 blowouts, the series has been bookended by amazing games. Let's just hope bad officiating doesn't affect Game 7 too much.
From: Chris Bosh
To: Those Heat "fans" who left the game last night before it was over
Dear Heat "Fans" who left last light
For all of those who left early last game, don't even bother coming to game 7
Sincerely,
Chris Bosh
Awesome
Here it is. All or nothing.
Ginobli played like a chump tonight. Way too many turnovers. He cost the Spurs the game.
Holy shit, was on the edge of my seat for pretty much all of the second half. Sloppy game to say the least, but thats what made every successful possession more meaningful. Leonard and Battier were the unsung heroes. Bosh and Ginobli were the chumps, and Pop sat Parker for some important plays. Duncan missed a bunny, and Lebron and Wade were automatic. Wasn't as good as Game 6, but the officiating was LOADS better this time. I'm thankful for that at least.
Good thing this injury-ridden season is over
Sadly, I think it's Manu's time to retire.
RIP, Narrative.
16 characters of dead narrative
Sadly, I think it's Manu's time to retire.
Hardly. He's still a productive player; one of the best in the world and he still competes. I think he may because of his body, but he's more than capable of playing another season or two.
I've seen a lot of Ginobili hate, but I think it's a little unfair. He sucked in the 4th, but he hit a couple shots and played hard. Tim Duncan had a bad turnover and missed some shots he shouldn't have in the game. It was a team loss, definitely.
Great game and great series though. God, it would have been great to watch that. Second best game I've ever witnessed when it comes to overall impact.
It would've been to see a Chicago-SA finals, because both franchises were undefeated in finals appearances before this season. Oh well.
I hate seeing a rival team win it all, but what's done is done. Congrats to the Heat.
Lets get it next year Bulls. See Red.
So much for the Lakers winning the 2013 NBA Finals or the Spurs, or the Thunder, or the Celtics, or The Clippers. If nothing else though Miami showed Dallas the proper way of defending a championship.
Anybody watching the draft.
Yep and the Sixers are truly idiots.
The Celtics are trying to bottom out as hard as they can. They have a deal ready to send Pierce and Garnett to the Nets for cap filler and 3 first rounders
Snell is a really good pick for the Bulls. He's a straight shooter, can shoot 3s, can spread the floor, and can defend well. Perfect fit for the Bulls.
Stern loves being the villain lol.
So it's official.

And thus officially ends the Big 3 era in Boston.
Why did the Cavs pick Bennet instead of Porter? I'm asking because I may not know college players in-depth being from outside the US, but Bennet looks more like half-4 and half-3, when they already have Thompson as PF, and they need a pure Small Forward like Otto Porter seems to be.
I like Oladipo in Orlando, but they should really trade Afflalo to the Clippers for Bledsoe (this is a rumored deal) to get a great young and athletic line-up. And get rid of Harrington and Turkoglou. Imagine a starting 5 of Vucevic-Harris-Harkless-Oladipo-Bledsoe. I would really like that.
I'm not surprised by Noel sliding down to 6th. He played few games and doesn't really have an offensive game. Plus the injury. Instead I was shocked by the trade with Philly. This means they're letting Bynum leave (and rightfully so) but they must have great faith in MCW if they decided to give away Holiday. He could form a great trio with Gordon (if he decides to give half a shit and doesn't injury again) and the Brow. A fresh start for the Pelicans was much needed.
The Bobcats. What the hell guys. How can they miss every pick every year? MacLemore was right there for them and they picked another will-be-bust. They learned nothing from Sean May, Adam Morrison, Bismack and MKG? (this video backs up my point perfectly:
)I like the T'Wolves draft. I was baffled when I saw they picked Burke when they already have Ricky, but then with some good trades they got what they needed. Shabazz could be the steal of the draft because he perfectly fits there as a scoring SG. I also like Lorenzo Brown. They needed an athletic backup PG.
Always hard to tell how the rookies will do. Almost all of them will be riding the bench with little playing time their first year. But down the road one could blossom into a star. Thunder have been trying to draft that future star big man for a few years now. One of these days they'll draft him. Or pick one up.
Lots of moves to be made now. Players will switch teams, new super teams will be formed, and injured players will get healthy.
Chris Paul is staying with the Clips. Expected after getting Doc.
Howard… jeez, I am tired of Howard. I don't really care where he goes. I feel like he is overrated now. Few years back, he was beastly. But now, he is a whiny idiot with some health issues. He put up the numbers last year, and that is why teams are still interested in him. But I wouldn't want him on my team. Looking at the Lakers, I'd say that his numbers don't make up for his personality.
Lol Dwight Howard.
Seems like it´s a done deal with Howard and Houston http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nba/2013/07/05/dwight-howard-houston-rockets-contract-decision-los-angeles-lakers/2492347/
Howard wisely leaves the scrutiny in LA for Houston.
There's also plans in Houston to flip Asik+other(s) for Josh Smith.
To think that one of shittiest rosters in the league just about a year ago is becoming a monstrosity
I thought Dwight would go to Houston since the beginning of Dwightmare 2013. Rockets are a younger, healthier team. You can't really blame him for leaving.
My crackpot theory:
3 team trade between Celtics, Rockets, and Hawks that lands Smith in Houston and Asik in Boston :ninja:
So Howard has changed his mind, and is now 50/50 between the Lakers and Rockets. Lulz.
Wow just wow .
Nope he's going to Houston. You can thank Chris "multiple sources" Broussard for the 50/50 thing
Now that I think about, it might be smarter for the Rockets to go for Ryan Anderson from the Pelicans.
They should probably avoid Josh Smith so they have space to resign Chandler Parsons later. That way they can avoid taking a step back in the future
