Here's a map that shows the islands the SHs had visits (Little Garden, Water 7 ect) are between East and South Blues=

For instance is each blue really bigger than grand line in terms of area?

Otherwise the translation is heads and tails above 90% of the online shit. ESPECIALLY the early stuff which is downright garbage online for the most part. Zolo bothers you? What about Bisoromi Bear, The SS Forward, Commander General Zango, and Tanjiahdo Lofulamingo.
Even some of the good modern scans of the early volumes I found had really awkward unnatural stilted dialogue.
I'm more than willing to overlook Zolo for a good read of One Piece. -

The guy that the fan community trusted as the most accurate translator for over a decade, the definitive go to source for settling disputes or clearing things up, that had his own personal section on this forum for his translations up until he got the official job doing it.
And he's the one doing the Viz translations now. With access to the original Japanese scripts.
It doesn't get any better.

Stephen is lame now that he's gone mainstream!!! I never REALLY like him! I'm more into this new group now, MangaPanda, they translate like chimpanzees but they keep it Zoro dude. You should check them out.

Yes, Batato has redone and cleaned up some of the very worst of it, (12 years later) mostly in the Drum section, but they've hardly touched the entire series. You get even a few chapters after than that and the image quality is back down to chinese bootleg.

The best course of action is of course to get the Viz Volumes and using an apropiate tool turn all "Zolo" into "Zoro"
And hope that when the Kanzenban finaly comes, stephen is around and manages to revert the choice.
Or learn Japanesse, and get them for 9$ plus shipping.
I'm finaly entretaining the idea of getting the volumes, but spending 400$ specialy in my country's condition is kind of selfish with my family. Also, I don't have where to put them right now.

You don't get them all at once! (Unless you find them on sale at half price or something.) You get one, maybe two a month, and find a place to put them as you go. Doesn't eat a huge wad of cash, and a its a slow long term treat for yourself.

A little over a year ago i subscribed to SJA for 12 months so i wasn't a total parasite, but never actually read it because of the delay and how i always heard that official releases do somewhat annoying stuff like use 'Zolo'.

Got a question that i havent seen asked or answered anywhere (yet). Well its a two part question.
1st. What is the sound effect on this page of the bottom right panel

2nd. What happened to the centaur? It looks like he got incinerated but this is One Piece so im doubtful. If anyone can help would be greatly appreciated.

I think it was a scream…at least it was translated as one in some scans. But since this is from batoto -which is currently more believable than other sites, I'd like to know too. This may be One Piece, but they are at Punk Hazard where mad scientist reigned,human experimentation happened and death did happen. That puff in the bottom panel does seem to imply incineration.

Why does everybody seem so sure that the Pirate who cut off Z's arm is the seventh Schichibukai?
I'm watching Z as we speak and I got past that scene just now, but all it says is "A pirate with Devil Fruit powers killed his entire fleet aside from two people, and Z lost his arm. That man became a Warlord one year ago".Nothing in there that proves to me it's the one we haven't seen yet… It may well have been Law. Buggy is a bit of a stretch since he probably couldn't do something like that.

The arm cutting happened happened like 8 years before the timeskip. I doubt a 16-year old Law would've been able to defeat an ex-admiral.

Honestly I thought that the shichibukai that cut of his arm was Dracule Mihawk since he has the capability and title of Strongest Swordsman, then I reconsidered that it didn't fit his personality.

Ah no, that's not possible either.
It was stated that the man who became a Schichibukai became one 1 year ago. Mihawk and all have been around for much longer, and Buggy was too weak 8 years before the timeskip, so was Law. So yes it must have been the seventh. -
