Yoko Kanno is a great composer, but I always liked Susumu Hirasawa and Hideki Taniuchi as well.

Well, Yoko Kanno, Kenji Kawai and Yuki Kajiura are pretty much the first names you will here when it is about aniem soundtracks

One thing though, the famous GITS Opening is like the Ost made by Kenji Kawai, Kanno only made the soundtrack for the GITS tv series

Because they're great composers, Madoka wouldn't be the same without Kajiura's amazing soundtrack.

But I was wondering, who was responsible for the Samurai Champloo OST besides Nujabes?

Tsutchie and Fat Jon, with MINMI, Kazami, Shing02, Suiken and S-word, Oki, Umeko Ando and Midicronica contributing a few tracks.

Well, the Jojo's Bizarre Adventure 2012 soundtrack is a welcome addition to the pantheon of good anime OSTs.

Shingeki No Kyojin's deep bass-y sound is great.

Basically most things I watch now have a great soundtrack. HxH, SnK.

Panty & Stocking had a god-tier OST. and I mean actual OST, not just "a good OP and ED".

^PSG definitely had one of the better OSTs.

Sawano Hiroyuki's work in Guilty Crown (despite the trainwreck series) is definitely similar to his work in Shingeki, if not just a cut above our beloved Titan series. I don't listen to a lot of Supercell, but his new vocalists are simply diviiiiiine.

As for Takanashi Yasuharo, I usually loathe him by association with Narulol, but his music in Shiki has been the best single OST I've heard recently. Add that to the inclusion of BUCK-TICK and we had a winning combo.
