I think I've played every day since I got it, the day before European release (pre-ordered like a boss).

missed a few days due to battery and lost charger and ALOT has happened:
-Leif ended up near my home instead of his shop due to the days so i ended up in a minigame and got a rose sofa for my effort.
-Met Cally and Ruby is moving in my town
-Got a cool K.K Song on Sat….Stale Cupcakes
-got a shaved Ice lamp from Isabelle
-got a blue dot also...spotpass item reward is...the fireworks table

As for the game nothing much going on, got a lot of songs, my tree is growing, got the new bug/fish from Agust and finally got my last villager, for some reason the tent guy would always be from an animal family I already got, finally Gruff came up and I got him :P.
So I got a duck, robin the robin, wolf, ant-eater, Gorilla, goat, bear, mouse, cat and an octopus.
Buying dem trees from Leif everyday to get my golden axe.
Buying the flowers every day to try and get the silver watering can at least… will be easier to water all the flowers in my village, seeming as how there's a hell of a lot and still growing...

Also sat on the brick bit of tree... love the music and the fact it shows the 'history' of the town.
The golden watering can does save a lot of time :D, just have the town perfect during 15 days I believe, not that hard.
Yeah I haven't seen Gracie either I think its only in the last expansion that she appears but I'm not sure either, didn't bother to google/gamefaqs it.

I ended up getting the Badge guy yesterday for my bug collection
I went to Aika's village just now. Finished my adventure there and it left me with a really sad feeling…If you want to visit the dream of this village yourself, the code is: 2600-0218-7298
And this it how the story developed for me in my mind while I went through the village:
! Once upon a time, in a quiet lovely village, lived a family of four. The father, the mother, the daughter and their dog. They were very happy together as you can gather from the birthday party going on in the 1st house, as well as the child's scribbles of her family and especially her mother. The child loved the mother quite a lot too as you can understand from what the little girl says. Then something happened to strike this happy family down. The father left the mother and the daughter to run off with his lover as it's pictured in the second house. The mother driven insane by his betrayal, turned her hate for her husband towards her daughter who in turn started going insane because of her beloved mother's abuse. (In the second house on the top floor we have Adam and Eve and that symbolizes the sin the father committed against his wife by cheating on her - When you get through the maze on the main floor and reach the back room, you find a room with toys and a doll dressed like the little girl so the little girl, that is turned away from you. If you change your angle of view, you will see two angry, creepy eyes glaring at them. I assume those belong to the mother who treats her daughter with violence now. And in the basement, the little girl with her friends, celebrating her next birthday. Looks innocent at first, then you see the ax behind the red doll girl and right outside the house a bunch of graves. PS: all the graves contain doghouses which at first made me think it was dog graves…which might be right and my other conclusion wrong lol)
! You reach the third house. It looks tattered now, the little girl's speech seems broken. Inside you are welcomed by a red doll with an ax and you go through a maze to reach the back room.... which has a bunch of notes inside, a diary and a photo album (which is really a sketchbook you get from Katie lol). The notes? Probably the girl repeatedly writing to her mother that she loves her. On the right room on the main floor, you find a piano with plenty of easter eggs on the floor - I have no clue what this one means lol. And on the basement you see a tattered room, a bed where somebody died on (10 bucks says it was the mom being murdered by Aika), the little girl and other various stuff lying around. Then you go on the top floor and you get the chills by the obsession that takes over the little girl who by now it is obvious, she has lost all her family, including her dog. Pictures of the mom everywhere and a few of the dog too. Pretty sad really.
! Then you go to the last house and you find the girl outside. Now she speaks gibberish. Poor Aika lost it completelyShe can barely take care of herself as you can see by the mess in the main floor and when you go in the back room, you see her, the doll and the ax, completely surrounded by bars and being stared at. It symbolizes one of these three imo: Aika in a court room, Aika's split personality or Aika being imprisoned by her own mind. You go upstairs and you see her toys looking away from her (she is feeling ashamed) and her three pictures with black scribbles on them now. The middle one makes me believe she has come down to the conclusion that her family would've never been broken down if it wasn't for her.... Which brings us to the final bit of this tragic story. When you go down to the beach, you find a pair of red shoes... Aika committed suicide at the end. And when you swim to the beach that is cut off from the rest of the village (you can find a diving suit somewhere - not telling where :P) you find yet another grave... Aika's grave.
Your character even shivers when you come on that bit of the shore! Nice unintentional touch there!

Been playing less since starting up school, so I kinda let it go once I got the gold watering can. So far a bunch of flowers have died and weeds have grown, but once those were picked, my citizen satisfaction ranking went from average to "Best Town ever" again lol
But yeah I also just got the TIY upgrade.
