I gave Tari Tari a try and maybe if second episode is good enough I'll keep it. Humanity has Declined (or Jinrui blabla) seems interesting, maybe I'll give a try aswell.
Still, I wonder how Horizon got a second season.
Actively watching:
Natsuyuki Rendezvous (Excellent romance series so far, plus the female protagonist has short hair.)
Humanity has Declined (Cute protagonist, an interesting plot and very wacky situations.)
So, I Can't Play H! (Fanservice series, but I like Lisara and the fact that the main character is nicknamed "Ero-suke.")
Continuing:
Rock Lee no Seishun Full-Power Ninden (Funny series with Team Guy as the protagonists.)
Eureka Seven AO (Started off slow, but the return of some familiar faces has caused it to pick up some steam.)
Tried, but not sure if I'll continue:
Oda Nobuna no Yabou (Random dude from the future travels back to feudal Japan, only all its famous warriors are cute girls.)
Chitose Get You! (Like Hanamaru Youchien, only this girl's in elementary and the guy's an office worker.)
From what I've watched of this season so far, I highly recommend Natsuyuki Rendezvous and Humanity has Declined…
Watching: Sword Art Online (Darker, dot.hack//SIGN with more action if we're lucky)
Binbougami-da! (Unlucky god of Misfortune tries to steal the luck from a manipulative, too-lucky Mary Sue. Hijinks ensue!)
Rinne no Lagrange S2 (Watching it because of friends. Let's see if it gets better…)
May watch: Junrui wa Suitai Shimashita (Humanity Has Declined)
Uchuu Kyoudai (Need to catch up)
Continuing: Accel World (meh)
Hunter X Hunter (Heading into York Shin! Very exciting, especially after the Tower arc and Hisoka fight were so well done.)
I'll be checking out the P4, Blood C, Ookami Kodomo and Berserk movies whenever they finally come out as well (not soon).
Otherwise there's not much playing this season that appeals to me, I'll probably spend most of it on Netflix instead.
But between Breaking Bad, the Newsroom, and some other interesting shows, I'm not much lamenting having only a few shows to watch this season.
Especially considering how interesting last season was TV wise (Fate/Zero, Sakamichi no Apollon, Moretsu Pirates, Jormungand, Legend of Korra, and Game of Thrones, Mad Men, Veep, & Girls on the live action side).
There's a great lighthearted vibe around here, because no matter how serious we might get, we're all together because of some magical pirate.
I'll give the Binbō-gami ga! anime a try, since I already read the manga.
Everything else looks sooo bleh.
In the news of Theatrical Releases, Ōkami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki appears to be extremely promising and a movie I definitely want to see once it gets English subtitles. What will be the chances of that, by the way?
Sword Art Online (Darker, dot.hack//SIGN with more action if we're lucky)
I have read the novels a year ago. It's not that dark. Pretty cool action scenes, though, especially in the 2nd arc.
Kingdom is arguably one of the best manga currently running.
However, the anime being 3D turns me off.
I was crying with joy when I heard it'll be a NHK anime, then banged my head into the wall when I saw the ugly polygons.
It starts out as an action adventure, but evolves into a war epic.
The protagonist leads a thousand men in the current massive war. It's awesome.
I'm surprised they have not picked it up for scanlation.
Uchuu Kyodai: Continuing from last season. Pretty good and funny so far.
Sword Arts Online: I decided to watch this since my college suitemates were into MMOs. Has promise, will see where it leads.
Muv-Luv: I'm trying to decide whether this reminds me more of the Starship Troopers book or the Starship Troopers movie.

It's actually completely influenced off Gun Parade March video game.
It's kinda hard for me to get excited about Total Eclipse, since it's just a side-story to the much bigger story.
I understand they're testing the waters with smaller content first, but still.
It's hard to get interested when I know the bigger events and conclusions aren't gonna happen in this.
It's like being able to watch MS06 or 0080 War in the Pocket, and not have the actual main Gundam anime.

I wasn't trying to imply that the series was inspired by Starship Trooper, just what I've seen so far, the new meat getting messily slaughtered by monstrous aliens angle just reminds me of it.
Now that I think about it, and this isn't just for Muv-Luv…. Conventional weapons, by which I assume they mean firearms, missiles, artillery, etc. are ineffective against the BETA, so mankind build giant robots to fight them...which continue to use firearms, missiles, and artillery, only scaled up.
And humanity wonders why it's getting its ass kicked.

America, naturally, have uber-WMD and I'm sure that'll be told in Total Eclipse sometime.
In the main MV Alternative storyline, the usages of such are already in the past.
As usual I'm going to watch the noitaminA shows (Moyashimon and Natsuyuki Rendevouz), which seem to be decent so far (although the Moyashimon character design is a bit strange, despite being closer to the manga). Uta Koi is also on my watchlist, as I want to learn more about the 100 poems to prepare myself for Chihayafuru S2. A pleasant suprise for me is Jinrui, an interesting mix somewhere between social commentary and slice of life with cynicism. Additionally I continue to watch HxH, Uchuu Kyodai and Shirokuma Cafe from last season, Mutta and Shirokuma are awesome characters…
Took a look at Muv-Luv, Sword Art Online and Tari Tari: Pretty mediocre so far, maybe it will start to entertain me in the nest 2 or 3 episodes.

Alternative is based on our own world with a few political/cultural differences. The level of technology is approximately the same until the BETA arrive and start a divergence in the tech tree, and by 2001 stuff we consider futuristic is already commonplace, and things we have like GPS are from the realm of science fiction. Until plasma weaponry replace ballistics in our world, I doubt they'll be phased out in MLA.

They got a track from several influences, I believe UN had Aim for the Top one as well.
However, the setting is completely GPM, even down to geopolitical makeup of surviving humanity, and the parallel world settings.
The staff of Age were fans of GPM game, it's a known fact.
! Human race are backed to a corner from mysterious other worldly invaders who cannot be communicated with, Eurasia is gone, US and Japan are pretty much the only nations intact, with Japan as the front line defense. Young teens are recruited to pilot humanoid mechs to combat the aliens. The hero and heroine are key to saving the multiverse, as GPM world is one of several parallel universe that makes up the franchise.

When Muvluv came out years ago, it was talk of the town among Japanese players on the extreme similarities to GPM.
Of course, this is a common occurance in eroge field.
Oh, I know. But I was just pointing out that age is savvy enough to know of Starship Troopers and deliberately included homages to evoke the imagery/feel of it. GPM isn't all that well known over here, so most of the people who play Unlimited/Alternative tend to say it gives them Evangelion or Gunbuster vibes.

I'd love to see them finally animate JoJo's Bizarre Adventures, though.
I know they animated part 3 as an OVA but they cut out so much plot...
So far it's not been as good as Spring. Kokoro Connect can become interesting, Tari Tari is somewhat entertaining, Natsuyuki Rendezvous is so far been disappointing. The josei anime I've watched tended to be very good (I guess because anime adaptations of josei are usually reserved for the better ones).
Really I'm more interested in Space Bros from last season, and Hyou-ka, although I'm still waiting for something interesting to actually happen in the latter (great animation/cinematography gets you so far).
Currently, it's still Space Brothers for me. I really like it so far and I've always been interested in topics like space exploration.
(I saw 10 episodes of it without realizing Mutta's voice actor is Hirata Hiroaki.

Not really into watching the new anime they make these days, but Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita looks really cute. I just watched the opening and I kinda wanna give it a go. Cute art style. I like cute things. Otherwise I'm not watching any anime besides the obvious one.

It is cute, but also funny and kind of wacky; I definitely recommend it…

Aside from that.. I really don't have much time away from my school and gaming to watch anime. I mostly stick with Manga.
I always try to watch every single new anime show that airs (unless it's some toy line product show or whatever, or 3D), but I'm working through my backlog of last season 'cause I got pretty busy.

I really cannot decide which one I like more. Sword Art Online is already turning out to be fantastic, but Binbougami Ga! just has that Sunrise charm to it and I find myself smiling the whole time throughout every episode (and I love all the references–"cliffhanger manga page" was hilarious).
List will of course increase in the future to include just about every show. If you're wondering how I have time for this... playing an MMORPG for 5 years (2005-2010) and playing it at least 8 hours a day really gives you insight into how you can budget your time. Keeping up with all the shows I did last season, which was typically around 4-5 per day, only takes like 2 hours out of your day.
