Why is there no thread for this?!
This has to be, in mine and many others opinions, one of the best animes to come out during the summer… and still going on.
When you have a storyline with parody humor, its gotta be good:
Dragon Ball Z, Fist of the North Star, Prince of Tennis... all targets, they even make fun of Ero-anime in episodes.

I'll have to check the manga out… been watching the anime happily though... and it's amazing.
It's considered one of the top animated series right now, beating out the usual group of ero stuff for some time now. (Now that K-ON is off the air anyways)
This show was completely fucking hilarious, full of homages and parodies, and has a surprising amount of heart.

It's just too bad the anime ended soon, but I guess if they did extended it there wouldn't be enough material for it? I mean, the pacing is like 2 chapters each episode which is amazing.
Been a while since I laughed so much watching an anime… I'll watch the last episode and read the manga afterwards.
I need to catch up on this, watched the first 6 episodes and absolutely loved it. Sunrise just has such magic with anime.

The best parody in this show has got to be the Death Note parody
Well… the finale got amazing reviews over in Japan.. it looks like they might, though still unannounced, make a season 2. Though you could probably do Filler in this anime without any problems IMO, its that type of anime that could get away with it.
Watched the last episode. It was amazing, the emotional stuff didn't felt forced in any point. And finally the letter to Suwano; I'm glad they ended adding it, it's even better than in the manga (I actually read episode 8's chapters after watching it) by the fact it's message is on plurar rather than in singular.
Also, they can't let that fake preview just be a fake thing, otherwise people will rage :ninja:

Watched the anime and while some episodes got shortened to make it in one chapter overall it's a very good adaptation of the manga.
While the second season it's not out I suggest you to start with the manga, they are pretty much the same thing. You'll like it as much as the anime version, believe me.
I've finally read until the last scanlated chapter and it's pretty great; I love the last One Piece's parodies that have been done.
Ill keep this in mind.. I do have a lot of free time at work. 
Anybody still reading this? Because the final chapter just came out today, and man, it's good. I'm so used to crappy, rushed endings that even many good manga have had, getting actual closure felt great. It actually took me a while to get invested in this manga and its characters beyond the ADHD comedy, but once I did there was no turning back. It's amazing.
I actually think I'm going to read through this after hearing all the praise.
This is a great series and now it's over.
If anyone wants to pick this up, watch the anime first, it covers the first 3-4 volumes and the parodies are done amazingly on it. The characters' interactions are good with minor flaws. The story goes on a nice pace (except for the last arc) and it gets better as it goes.
Be warned, though, there is fanservice, sometimes a lot, though differently from, let's say, Fairy Tail, it doesn't ruin everything.
Now about the last chapter
! It was so sweet, I don't even think I need to say anything else but: that Ranmaru!
