To be honest, I`m just doing this to see how far this could go.
I'm opening this thread up to call out for nominations for this years tournament. This year the tourney number allowance is 160 characters, with 6 characters auto-passed, so they will not appear in the preliminaries. These characters are Uzumaki Naruto, Gaara, Tsunade, Hatake Kakashi, Might Guy, and Madara Uchiha.
I will also be combining certain characters into duo's or teams so don't be surprised when the preliminaries come out and you see some of the nominations combined. This is to include more characters while taking up less spots and/or to give them a better chance. When it comes to nominating groupings/pairings, as long as it's supported by the manga by way of appearance, meaning they're usually always seen together. Just use your common sense as an example. If you're not sure, go ahead and nominate as you wish, and I'll correct you.
For the next week or two, I'll be taking nominations, so start nominating your favorite characters, or characters you want to be in the tourney that you think others might not name. I'll only except one nomination per person and a character only needs one nomination to be considered.
Once that's over, I'll weight characters based on former tournament rankings, create the preliminary matches and start our first round!
