It was obvious they wouldn't go after her as soon as Luffy declared war with her, it's now personal between Luffy and Mama. The dispute chain will kick off with Swirlyhats and it will reach Luffy soon enough. If Kid went after BM the whole den den Mushi exchange in fishman island between Luffy and her would have been for nought.

Tough I believe he will learn new tricks by himselfhe's already been trained by the Pirate King's right hand man. You're not gonna get better training than that, and not all DF powers can be awakened…..Luffy is on his own now, he has all the tools necessary to get stronger and take on the best himself.

This Kaido is huge beast reference is too obvious from Oda. It would be awesome to see him being same side as Luffy. I dont remember Luffy fighting any big villain who is at his height yet. (Foxy and Wapol doesn't count.)

The trees make me think of Japan, not sure why.Yeah that will be the theme, if you research where his name is derived from and then see his images drawn here and there on cover pages and such by Oda you can see he resembles a figure from Japan, possibly an emperor who's right hand is a shogun (Zoro's future opponent) just a hunch.

The higher we go, the longer the series last. One Piece needs to end sometime or Oda will never be able to cover his tracks and finish up opened storylines. Doing things like bringing back Crocodile/Enel into the story with the large cast of characters he already introduces only makes the series last longer.
True. I know a part of us wants the series to last forever but i guess all good things come to an end. The amazing thing about oda though is that even if he has a HUGE cast of characters he manages to keep the majority of them interesting.

This is basically the best chapter probably since Sabo showed up. Yeah, that'll do? Fujitora, hell yeah? About time that was adressed. Strawhats making some potential enemies. The freaking Supernovas, plus Kid, Hawkins and Apoo targeting freaking Shanks?
Holy shit. After like month+ stretching and dragging everything and the very uneven pace of the whole damn arc I don't even know how to react to this.

Shanks will be fine but in One Piece there are always backhanded ways to overcome one's adversaries. I expect there to be some surprises in that fight were it ever to happen. I like how Kid didn't want to fight Luffy just yet, I guess he's targeted him as end game opponent. But maybe Oda will use them as an example of how not all hopefuls will make it in the new world :ninja:

Tough I believe he will learn new tricks by himselfHe was trained by Silvers because he needed to use and control Haki. It is a must in the New World. However Luffy tends to get inspired by other characters fighting styles and combines them with his DF and now with Haki so he will improve by himself mastering his Gears and perhaps awakening his DF. If he were to train again it will take another timeskip so that is not possible with all the things in motion in the New World. Just gotta go with the flow, he will find a way.

My favorite villain Akainu is not a loyal dog, he doesn't like the CD.
Big mom confirmed as villain and likely first yonkou to go down. It was clear all along, ever since she talked with Luffy, the fact that jimbei has to go and quit her( likely to go bad), Sanji and co vs her crew, she wants ceasar.

As I said, even if he does learn new things by himself I doubt his training is over.It doesn't matter how old he is. Roger conquered the Grand Line in 2 Years and Luffy has been on the sea more than 3. And all this opponents going for One Piece I don't think Luffy is going to have some chill time training on another isolated island. Either you take it all now or the others will achieve his dream.

Same way the orders from higher ups passed over the Gorosei's head the implications of what was said between Fuji and Akainu went over yours too, Fuji has all but resigned, you think he will go after Luffy? Did you not see the flashback of Fuji and Smoker talking? Smoker told Fuji about strawhats freeing Alabasta that's why Fuji was confident in betting on Mugiwara to do the same here. He's not going to stop anyone and he doesn't really care about his rank as admiral because his personal agenda has already been set in motion and all it will take is the avalanche that has started as a snowball to pick up in momentum.

With the way how Fuji talking at the end of the chapter it could go either way IMO.
He could go after SH and Law and then come up with a reason why he miss them.
He sure as hell don't care much about the marines face and rules. -
So much falloooooout! Luffy and Law pissed off so many people in a single day. I like that Luffy crushing Doffy is so far reaching that it stopped a war and ruined the plot of completely unknown pirates. That's awesome.
Then there are all the setups (seemingly years worth) for numerous conflicts and questions, of which there are so many it's mind-boggling. We get…
- Marines and World Government relationship getting super heated.
- Garp having Tsuru follow a specific pirate crew for an unknown purpose. (probably SH's, but to what end?)
- Someone approaching Urouge in the sky. (perhaps the moon man has returned!?)
- Capone, on a Big Mom ship, commenting about obtaining Caesar for some reason? His dialogue here and what exactly is going on is still confusing and full of questions. I hope this gets answered sooner rather than later, because it probably directly involves the Swirlybrow crew.
- The Kidd alliance is setting up to take down Shanks! I wonder if they're aware about the relationship between Shanks and Luffy at all? I wonder if Luffy would make a move to prevent Shanks being taken out by them, simply because that's one of his ambitions on his way to being King? I don't think they'll be able to take him down anyways, but Straw HatXRed Hair vs KHA Alliance would be awesome. Either way, I think this plot point is years off.
- Kaidou conflict is pointed to as the most immediate threat, but I really hope we don't get involved with that until the crew is reassembled. The shadow I think is meant to be menacing, but I think that cloud is meant to obscure the obvious roof of a building.
- Smoker and Tashigi are taking the PH kids to Dr. Vegapunk, someone whom I think will have a ton of answers for important things in the series. Again, I think seeing him is years off, even if Smoker/Tashigi are only days away.
- Fujitora looks like he's flipping the Marines and the World Government off. I think we'll get fallout from this a little more quickly, but I don't know that the ramifications of Fujitora's decision will be immediately felt. If he is making the choice to ditch the Marines already, I wonder where he goes/what he does?
So many questions and THANK GOD NO BREAK NEXT WEEK! Let's keep this train rolling, Oda!

Needless to say this chapter was mindblowing. A whole can of worms has now been opened up, and the world once again is thrown into chaos. Doflamingo used the CD's influence over the Gorosei to falsify the news, but they are definitely pissed now about Doflamingo being defeated by none other than Strawhat Luffy. Akainu is pissed and it sure is satisfying to see him that way after what he did at Marineford. And of course we see all the Supernovas, so much to follow. Who knows if that silhouette is Kaido or not, but hopefully this means we'll be seeing him soon.
My favorite part of the whole chapter was:

- Smoker: "Woman I'm not hungry!"
