Mine is not the strongest of Night Raid (that title goes to Akame followed closely by Leone), but if she survives long enough, one day she might become a force to be reckoned.

Would love for Wave to join Night Raid, like him a lot as a character. But he has a strong connection to Kurome, doesn't he? He wants to protect her, whatever the cost and he won't be able to do that as a member of Night Raid.

I meant among Night Raid and the Jaegers. Wild Hunt is on a whole other level of jerkass, disgusting and repulsive, and should get discarded from the get go. Hell, the only one of that group whom you can at least have some kind of empathy is Cosmina, because of her tragic past which turned her into the insane sexually obsessed whore she was until before the time she got "killed".

It has been implied from Early in the series Akame will battle Kurome, wont make sense if Takahiro changes his mind after all the implications.
Akame vs Esdeath will be the final fight of the series, Akame needs to beat Kurome or someone with good credibility before facing the "Empires Strongest" without needing an asspull move.

Most AGK characters are interesting, For most chapter I saw Tatsumi as a Natsu clone but he has been growing on me, Wave is cool, and he has been looking like he might be part of the MC cast if Tatsumi dies, who didnt enjoy when he punched the shit out of Shura? It was as enjoyable as Luffy punching the Tenryuubito.

This is how I think it will go for the upcoming Main fights:
Esdeath vs Mine, for the love of Tatsumi.
Akame vs some new introduced Jaegar member, I can see Takahiro saving the Kurome fight for later on.
Then we might get another timeskip, and will see that Akame, Tatsumi and Wave(who will join Night Raid) are strong now to take on Esdeath and Budou.

Caught up on this series a few days ago. It's a really fun read, but there are a lot of cheesy scenes or scenes where the characters, mainly Tatsumi, tries to be cool. I'm kind of glad they're starting to point that out haha
Wish the latest chapter was a bit longer to see how Esdeath reacted to Tatsumi's rejection (I don't think she'll give up that easily, though), but I understand that Takahiro is busy with other stuff. -

I normally don't prefer darker themed manga, but the suspense is greater when you know anyone can die. It's pretty enjoyable in that regard. Maybe I would have opted for less deaths. You know, it didn't have to be Bors' wife and daughter for Wave to flip off. That part was kinda rushed.
Also, Lubo is the man. The stuff he managed to pull… I'm gonna miss it.

It's about as dark themed as Fairy Trash or Reborn. On the same level of writing and development with them. The only schtick it had that "anyone" can die got old almost immediately and is handled so awkwardly and poorly that it's laughable.
There's nothing dark or any themed substance here. It's the most generic shounen comedy if anything. -
