so they're finally coming out of a sequel. i haven't heard of Zone of the Enders since the second game. and that was a looong time ago.

There have been 3 games to my knowledge.
ZOE 1 and 2 were early in the PS2 lifecycle, then there was one for the GBA and it was a pretty fun war/strategy game

Demons and stuff? Awwww, I loved the Sci-Fi setting! Well, we'll have to see how the gameplay transfers.
But still, awesome that this franchise lives. 2nd Runner was a ton of fun.

Daz: Kojima says the basic nature of the game won't change. Though, I'm still kind of worried about that.
This is still very exciting for me. I loved the first two. Hopefully this one has a decent length, though.

What are you exactly worried about ? I thought the gameplay was very good especially the second.

Hmmm it was everything I that gundam games were not when I was a kid :p. fast paced and awesome. The first didn't quite live up to my expectations but the second one hit it out of the park.

A bit like devil may cry. ZOE2 has different types of enemies which will require different strategies. Its incredibely fast paced. You have around like 10 sub weapons depending on your style and situations. You can use objects. You have epic boss battles with an insane ost. The last 2 or an hour and half of the game are legendary.
In fact Zoe2 is quite repetitive but its the plot that makes the repitiveness almost insignificant.For me ZOE1 is between a C+ and B-. It is an ok game. However, Zoe2 is an SS and its that good.

ZOE1s major flaw is it's criminally short length. When I expected the second act to start, and the credits rolled, i went "Whaaaaaaaaaaaah?!"
ZOE2 improved on almost everything, and its vs mode is also pretty fun, but could use a split-screen function
