Just wondering if you knew. But when you "search" apparnetly words that don't have at least FIVE letter apparently don't exist….....well what if you need to search for a 3 or 4 letter word? Just a suggestion, if you can change it, that would be helpful.

Well I searched "lock" and it worked just fine. As for three letter words, I can't think of any that wouldn't be far too vague.

Sure, go right ahead. The beauty is that I saved the characters indivdually so they could be easily used for any and all situations.

I wanted to find Jeece's topic so I typed in "Need a sig"
Since that is the topic name, but all of the words were too short >_>

I went to advanced search, and searched by his username instead, and it came right up.

Well, "sig" would probably be too short but "Need" and "a" would actually be too common of a word for the search function. Though I typed in "Need a sig topic" and it gave me…the forum.

I eventually found it, but it is kinda annoying that I couldn't just search for the name of the topic

there's nothing I can do about this, atleast, nothing I want to do. The reason they have character limits is due to the fact that searching for short words produces too many results, more results, more load on the server, it's impractical.

i think the search is easy to use. but this thread seems to be the right place to show my little anger. is there a way people stop creating threads entitled: "a question" or "some thoughts" or "please help" or you know what". the matter is that we don't know at all what it's about and for example the search for the content of these threads is really hard.
