I live in a house with no windows, and I very much enjoy comedy/adventure or psychological anime/manga
A few favourites off the top of my head(anime wise):
One Piece, Arakawa Under the Bridge, Natsume Yuujinchou, Gintama, Durarara!!, Planetes, Welcome to the NHK, Dragonball,
and anything by Hayao Miyazaki or Satoshi Kon.
