Yeah that cartoon was utterly horrid.

Hell they're showing that show on local tv now so I know how bad this is first hand.

Also the ending to that short makes no sense and the whole thing with them reusing the same animation of "dancing" Droopy feels exactly like what it is, incredible lazyness.

On one episode of Gilligan's planet, they shoot down the ideas of aliens existing when

1. The Professor has at some point found an alien device that works as a universal translator which was apparently not left by the aliens from that episode but by some other species entirely.
2. The Professor's books have entries on aliens
3. They have an alien pet.

I mean.....how can you get away with something like this ?

why does The Cleveland Show even need to exist ? The creators had to alter the cast to be a neat identical black variation of the main characters from Family Guy, which is also in my opinion never been funny to begin with. So….why do we even need this ?

I saw a few reviews of that one. Oddly enough they managed to make characters from the show actualy look alot like their game originals, as opposed to Dic's attempts to incorporate one of Nintendo's poster boys

He's not even blue.

And waita minute. How does CS "tap into" a black audience exactly ? By changing the appearance of the Cleveland family members to match the white Griffin family, while the main character acts as an ignorant racist homophobic asshole ?

Going straight for Hanna Barbera is too easy. They had like, 3 decades of nonstop crap to choose from that kept airing on Cartoon Network so people actually know they existed.

Because he made a lot of series. He was trying his best. But they were all awful. Hanna Barbera at least had a few decent outings here and there.

Sinbad Jr. and his Magic Belt was so bad, that Hanna Barbera took over and improved the animation!

I hated the really cartoony Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon. MIB cartoon…But for some reason I could watch other WB stuff that I know if I tried to watch now I'd hate. Mighty Ducks, Mummies Alive, (I wanna say Chimps in Space...), Cowboys of Moomesa...Biker Mice from Mars the remake was especially bad.

The thing about Paddy is that the intro title card and hoarse sing-song could fool you to think this was actualy of at least mediocre quality.

And then you see the stuff that's actualy moving.

It hasn't aged well, and it had no budget, but it was decent. It was trying at least. Didn't have an ending, however.

I give them a lot of credit for their token body-switching episode… they didn't do the usual "the other person magically has the other person's voice!" shtick, but actually let the actors play the parts differently and trusted the audience to keep up.

While we can all agree that cartoon was not the SatAM series by a mile… it was still better than Sonic Underground. I know some folks here like it for... some reason.

Was actually quite good for the most part. Better than the movies. Doesn't belong in the "bad" discussion at all.

But for some reason I could watch other WB stuff that I know if I tried to watch now I'd hate. Mighty Ducks, Mummies Alive, (I wanna say Chimps in Space…), Cowboys of Moomesa...Biker Mice from Mars the remake was especially bad.

Mighty Ducks had the redeeming quality of the all-star villain cast. Tony Jay, Clancy Brown, Tim Curry and Frank Welker all interacting for huge swathes of time in every episode? Awesome.

I've managed to never see the Biker Mice sequel. I liked the original okay, but it didn't age well either.

I couldn't cope well with J and K not looking the way they did in the movies. Also there was the period of that odd style. Just not my cup of tea.

I only liked Duke L'Orange cause he was voiced by Jeff Bennett.

If you're talking about me, which you totally should be, it's pretty much because Sonic Underground has so many subtle, terrible, ill-fitted cogs amongst its already loose and grating gears. I watched all 40 of its godforsaken episodes over a month and I didn't regret a bit of it only because I had friends with me and we all had to experience it together, laughing all the way.

Like, there are so many genuine moments of stupidity that are almost a high level of creativity due to my inability to grasp why they came to the conclusion that this was the best way to handle a scene. "The hedgehogs were getting away and moved past a hill with a small incline, so Dingo transformed into a… rolled up carpet to roll down and trip them?!"

In fact, Dingo and Sleet in general are mesmerizing. Despite the show's guffaw-inducing Windows Movie Maker cheap music videos (one video consisted of solely the sepia filter and wipe transitions), Jaleel White putting on a creepy falsetto for the ultra feminine Hedgehog sister Sonia, and even the singers having to imitate his groan-worthy vocal performances…

Sleet and Dingo stand tall and above the rest as just the greatest worst henchmen characters. The things Dingo transformed into my god how did they come up with some of this shit

Then you should have watched the tv show first and been annoyed by the movie instead. The tv show was good. Miles better than the second movie for sure.

They lampshaded that exact thing eventually anyway by revealing that every so often some writer or Hollywood-type learns of the MIB and makes a movie about them, possibly hinting that the live-action movie was one of these incidents.
