I like how this thread almost purely exists to bash Naruto and Bleach chapters and what´s even worse is that it is justified almost everytime.

This (25-year-old) troper actually found Naruto deeper than Elfen Lied (or for that matter Death Note), but he's a philosophy/politics geek and freely admits he's enjoying it from a different angle than most people. This troper just appreciated that Naruto vs. Gaara contrasts communitarian existentialism with individualist existentialism; how Sandaime Hokage vs. Orochimaru explores the community as macrocosm of the family; how both the Pain arc and Sasuke's character arc exemplify, in the face of all "victim" politics, that merely having justified resentments does not equate to carte blanche for retaliation; and how all the villains are explorations of the fact that human conflict is first and foremost ideological.

He said it in the chapter. Nagato was full on Senju so he gave him his eyes. Uchiha Eyes + Senju body equals statue use.

To be fair, people had have their kidneys and other organs removed by thieves without them knowing in real life so if Madara really drugged up Nagato it is plausible to transplant eyes without someone knowing.

Well Uzamakis have a little of Senji in them as Pain or someone said to naruto before. Rinngegans are apparently hard to awaken, Madara only got his just before he died.

For some reason, its always suprising when you read One Piece and Bleach right after each other. THe difference is night and day. Kubo wasted a whole chapter on Ichigo's entrance. Wow. Almost looked like a substitute shinigami infomercial.
As for Naruto. I guess its cool that we're getting answers now, regardless of how stupid they are. Forgive me for saying this…..Sasuke needs to come back into the story. His trolling is a lesser evil than this Obito crap.

Just like how Danzo is Senjuu/Uchiha.But the rinnegan itself is Uchiha/Senju appearantly, so at most nagato would be 1/4th Uchiha. Whatever, I just interpreted it like they said Nagato was the only other person in the entire world capable of summoning that statue, when in reality anyone who popped in a sharingan-eyeball and had some Hashirama cells would do.
Hell, by this chapters logic, Madara could give the Zetsus some sharingans from his little stockpile, and then each and every one of them could summon that statue.I also wonder how Madaras goals lept from "FUCK KONOHA U MISTREAT UCHIHA" to extremely elaborate worldwide 10-tail using genjutsu "Peace!" plan. But thatll propably be its own 10 chapter flashback.

Naruto's episode wasn't too terrible but Obito not caring about why Kakashi killed Rin and jumping willingly into the idea of creating a fake fantasy world where all that never happened is just plain stupid.

I'm confused about Ichigo's power. At this moment, is he as strong as he was when he faced Aizen at his final time, but before he did his Final Genjudwadn Tendawhatever?

Naruto was confusing.
Felt like he was trying to toss in as many explanations to events prior stated to try and fill in plot holes as he could into one chapter and it felt very messy.
YET he ignored the one piece of information that we cared about, Why Rin was killed. Though of course I'm sure its up to Kakashi to tell him during this fight.
Bleach was pathetic. An entire chapter all to just show Ichigo appear. Also was very confusing, was jumping around between people and voices and what not could not tell who was who and who was talking. All i know is Ichigo appeared at the end. I guess his screaming finally paid off and he escaped his cage.

Byakuya better hope he dies soon and quickly reincarnates. Cause that's some embarrassing shit he just spewed out. He'd have to hornorably kill himself if he survives. Why beg Ichigo? It's not like Ichigo has a track record of not helping. Or being told he needs to help. He jumps in at any chance. The only times he needs to be told to help out is when some villain is in SS and he happens to be in his house or at school and can't sense the danger. A poor attempt to make the readers feel sorry for Byakuya. Such a wasteful chapter.
Naruto is boring me. I can't remember all these names and what weirdly designed eye does what. They all just amount to "Fuck you! I do what I want!" powers anyways. I just wanted an explanation for why Rin was killed.

Yeah. Even though an army of gasmask-nazis just walked in, SS seems almost totally desolate this chapter.
But guys, this chapter was important character development for Byakuya! He used to be a total ass to Ichigo, so him actually asking for help is a big thing!
Also, we totally needed all this emphasis on Ichigo standing up for soul society, he's never done that before after all! And him arriving to finally confront the big bad is a BIG moment! I mean, this guy has been present in the story for 30 chapters!!!!!!! -

Bleach - No plot advancement at all, lots of pretty art, character who was originally a badass now a pussy.
Naruto - Some plot advancement, stupid reason for said plot advancement, characters we really don't care about.

Naruto: The bullshit never ends. How could Nagato have had his eyes transplanted without him or anyone else knowing? (this was before his parents died). For that matter, why didn't Madara transplant his eyes into one of his parents instead? Was a kid a better choice than an adult? Why?
Zetsu's dark half is Madara's essence? Blah. And how does Zetsu's cannibalism and venus flytrap motif fit in with this origin story?
And of course, Obito turns evil because he's emo about the death of a girl he barely talked to and he doesn't even know why his friend killed her. Seriously, shouldn't that have been the first thing he did was wait for Kakashi to wake up and demand an explanation?

The need to always be "cool" is this series' biggest flaw that made it into what it is today. Nowhere is this more apparent then here.

actually Pain was the only one who knew he was madara and thsi chapter didn't change that.
