Why would he? She's not a seated officer and they're not in the same division; it wouldn't surprise me to learn they've never spoke. If you wanted some form of apology, not killing Ichigo and co. was probably it.

I might've not read that chap (think that week where Kubo took a break threw me off). Honestly, I'm not paying attention to this manga with any kind of effort or focus. Can't even say I forgot if I did read the chap. It's usually a feat in itself that I even have anything to post about this or Naruto after reading their recent chaps.

Lmao. I was stuck laughing for hours at the fact this chapter is called "Die Standing" and aside from flashbacks Yama wasn't standing anywhere in this chapter… Geez, talk about a misleading title.
Anyway, Naruto was good. I like the eye panel, the tall tree/moon panel. Looking forward to the explanation though.

They are the elite, the very strongest - probably on the same level as the old man himself. We know the old man was the strongest in SS, and that no one in the past 1000 years was stronger than him, but who's to say there were others on that level with him? The only advantage he probably had over the others would be his ungodly powerful bankai.
He also didn't fear Yamamoto because as he put it, he became weak because he started caring about protecting others and some notion of peace & justice, where as the old him was absolutely ruthless and was willing to do anything in order to win.

I'm confused. When Quincies steal Shinigami's Bankai their reishi disappears too? I mean on an even, full-out battle with Yamamato vs Juha Bach you would guess they would be on same level.
But why when Yamamto just lose his Bankai suddenly gets reduced to fodder level? I mean this guy is the strongest of all Shinigami and can't even avoid a direct slash?And is there any indications that Juha Bach's level of power? Is it Yamamato level or very well high above that now?
And if Yamamato can beat Juha Bach can't Isshin do it too? He had owned Aizen like a fly even without bankai on Fake Kurakara Town arc. -

Obito was chosen because Madara seems to be lazy. He probably could have sent out those clones to snag an Uchiha straight from the village, but instead he just uses the one that falls into his lair.
Anyone wanna take a bet on what Squad 0 will mostly be comprised of character design wise? I'm betting, at least 3 Aizen Bishies, 1 old female, 1 short flat-chested loudmouth girl, 1 Aizen with glasses and mustache, 1 large boobed quitely reserved woman in the mid to early 30s looks range, and 1 huge buff guy who might be vaguely blackanese, and 1 creepy thing that has weird facial attachments.

Choosing I don't think would be the right term then. More like, felt pity towards? Kinda like if you found a super mangy possum that had crawled through your doggy door after it was hit by a car. It needs medical attention, but you are a shut in and can't be bothered to take it to the vet. So you patch it up with duct tape and hope it holds. Then you wonder if you could train it to be useful like the dogs you already have.

So Obito really turned to teh dark side cause Rin died, was hoping for something a little less predictable but at least his rampage was pretty awesome. the flashback is a little slow paced for me but it has been pretty decent so far.

This makes sense, though Zetsu should have said something along the lines of "No wonder he let you live" or something similar to it. The idea of him being "chosen" in this case suggests he was destined by Madara or who knows to fall into his cavern.

But if we're starting a Shishio hate train, I can't get on that. I found his motives to be in line with what happened to him, and his ideals countered Kenshin's in a way I found most exquisite. I also found him to be less of his own entity and more literally the fires of hell powering a person. So, feeling the itch of your charred skin everyday and being powered by hell would be a surefire way to power an intense grudge.

No prob, mate. I was just kind of itching to debate Kenshin since I can't revive that Tiers of Manga thread yet (which is one of my favorite things about AP Forums :3).
There was some cool Kenshin debating going on in that thread, and it surprised me how many people weren't that big a fan of it. I've only seen the anime, which has a stellar soundtrack, so I may be biased but I do like Kenshin quite a bit. Namely for certain moments, as certain stretches can be tedious.
I need to read the manga…

I'm thinking that Obito not being blind is a combination of Hashirama's DNA and Obito deactivating and reactivating his MS right after using Kamui. I'm assuming that the longer it's activated the more damage it does. Adding Hashirama's DNA could slow down the process.

If it's not Ichigo that bust through that rift hole thingymabob in the sky I wouldn't be surprised, THEN AGAIN. I would be surprised if Kubo decides to finally show us what happened in huceo mundo and it leads up the the reveal of who it is in the rift at the end of the chapter. I mean it's his final arc so you know it'll be at least 5 years long.
