I had a funny conversation the other day about this, and to be honest none of us could decide on what we would go for. Any ideas or moves that spring to mind? Also would it be a selfish or maybe just something solely for your entertainment.

Ummmm…...I guess maybe on the same level as Haruhi Suzumiya, except I would be able to control that ability.
As for why?

There the main character has this awesome cybernetic eye that is connected to every computer in the world,able to control the every computer and computer-controlled piece of tech in the world.
He can instantly get info an everything he looks at,can have computers make solutions,is pretty much the god overlord of tech and even muses how,if he so wanted,he could end the world by launching nukes.Hell,in order to stop a super-powerful psychic,he simply browsed top secret weapons in development and then had his weapon of choice be replicated and built into…super-fancy flying supercar because why not.
With this EYE,I could be the lord of internet,I could control the tech to my advantage,I could even stream porn straight to my brain!
The idea of being a god actually sounds boring to me. You have no challenges, everything happens however you see fit, and you probably shed the ambition and things you strike to achieve. It's cool, but I can imagine being bored of it after a while. It's like you have no meaning or purpose anymore.
It's like they said in the bible. On the seventh day god got bored of it all and went to sleep. Came back and did some mores tepid shit and then slept another few thousand years. Or at least that's how I perceived the bible. Lol
For me I'd still want to struggle. I want barriers and boudries to overcome, and with one more ability make it easier or have more ways to approach them. Something like the instant transmission for example.
Well I can still have struggles and boundries as I control all of the world's porn and have car factories build me sports cars with rocket launchers.

As for being lord of the Internet, maybe not a good idea considering most of it is porn. you might evolve into something pretty seedy.

If I do get bored, I could always choose to limit myself every once and awhile.

With this device,I can basically "cheat" with every problem and task and have the world's combined computing power solve it for me.It would be the always radily available easy way out and,before long,I would have developed a complex of sorts, bugging notion that I can't do anything without it and all of my success or career advancement or whatnot is "fake".

To be honest, a really awesome power to have would be Naruto's shadow clone ability. Since each clones experiences and knowledge get transferred back into me once they dissapear/die…. I just make hundreds of copies of myself, send them across the world to learn like, everything... then summon them back to me and boom, I know tons of language's, subjects, education, martial arts, military tactics, etc...
Medaka's the end sounds good to me , ( the ability to learn and perfect every skill ) it is very open and has a lot of possibilities ..
I'm not the type for "ultimate abilities" like time and/or space manipulation… I think it would corrupt you.
Personally, I'd prefer an ability like Ban Mido's evil eye from Get Backers. It allows him to trap a person/people in illusions for a minute, 3 times a day. While that sounds weak, it could certainly be used to your advantage both in and out of fights.

No. If I have Zebra's power, I'm not eating a ton of beets, cheese and oranges to replace the calories lost from destroying my enemies with my voice. I'm gonna be having whale everything at the very least. Whale kababos, whale quiche, whale shakes, whale on the half shell, whale soup, whale burgers, deep fried whale, whale cookies. Everything!

Teleportation, or some form of instant to near instantaneous transportion, without a doubt. I love to travel, but really can't, so being able to go anywhere, or see a person would be all i'd need. Plenty of practical uses in that too.
Right about now I could go for a 100% friezer death ball on my city. But as for a morning when I'm not so hungover, I could go for alian delons travelling ability. Just the idea of sucking people into my body and ejecting them somewhere else appeals to me. I'd be a real dick of a best mate when drunk. Lol

Hisoka's abilities would just be great. Using Bungie Gum to it's full potential is incredibly formidable, and then, as a sort of side ability, being able to change the appearance of any text or inanimate object is quite cool too.
I wouldn't want to go full out Enel with electricity powers, so I'd probably pick Killua's abilities; recharging with an outlet, short bursts of super-speed and small electric shocks, etc.
Although, I think upon reflecting over this for a long time, I'd have to go with Aokiji's devil fruit. Being able to freeze absolutely anything is god-tier, but also the idea of biking across the oceans (freezing any incoming storms and waves) is too romantic to pass. I mean you do get the down-side of not being able to swim anymore, but I think Aokiji, with the level of mastery over his fruit that he has, doesn't really see drowning as an issue; the sea is still pretty much free reign for him
