It does. Calling people animals in general is derogatory.
Even if its a badass animal? Calling someone a Tiger (or Bull or Rhino) sounds more like a compliment than an insult, particularly when your job involves beating the crap out of people.

Yeah, that's old news :D Cool, huh?
I think don has already predicted that the SH's and law are going to try and destroy the factory so he has stationed one of the donquixote pirates there and franky will fight him
SInce there is so much stuff from Yaya and Skypiea reappearing, like Nolad, Bellamy, Burgess, Dofla and so on, has anyone ever thought that it could be a good time for Enel to appear once more? Personally i was kind of convinced, that if some earlier villain would reappear during this arc it would be most likely Moria, since the abusa thing and Dofla trying to kill him (ordered by CP0 ?). Would be fitting if he finishes him off after Luffy kicks his ass or makes him his bitch with somekind of new zombie technique making the puppet master the puppet or soemthing. Now i am not shure anymore. I always thought Enels reappearnce would be connected with his coverstory somehow little people from the moon or space pirates but now i am not so sure anymore. What is everyones take on that? Will there appear a major villain from before during this arc, and have you found hints of any kind?
Getting away from the chapter discussion a bit, i know, but since there is a new chapter coming out on tuesday i think we can stray a little

I love when Oda goes back all the way to East Blue saga more than nearly 700 chapters later.
I was wondering…
We have :
- red = lava
- blue = ice
- yellow = light
- Purple = Gravity (I guess, in nearly all the RPGs I played it was the case... Yeah that's my source...)
So does "Green" symbolises something ? I heard it could be the Wind, but I don't really know :|
(Sorry if somebody already asked this question ^^ )
Green can be wind or wood (forest or leaf)

Moriah would make sense but Enel doesn't tie into this arc at all, not even loosely. If/when he comes back it'll be a little later on and he'll be antagonizing Urogue, not Luffy. I feel like they must have a bit of history both being from Bilka and all.
Yeah but I'm more amazed at the fact that you changed Usopp for Law
Y'all mean Law for Usopp?

My first guess would be poison. But we already got magellan and ceasar with poison gas so another poison guy would be tpo much i think.
So next thing that comes to mind with green is nature. Maybe some kind of paramecia to make nature based stuff like trees etc. If you think that cant be badass look at first hokage in naruto :p

You may be on to soemthing there. Enel could defintely reappear in connection with Urouge. The last time we saw Urouge he arrived at an island that was constantly hit by lightning. Not saying that the island has something do to with Enel but its a nice kicker after he and Urouge have the same home.

I thought i compile and significant piece of information that could be relevant
This drawing was included in volume 70 and depicts Mifune Toshiro, probably the most renown Japanese actor. His collaborations with Kurosawa Akira are his most famous movies, including Rashomon, Seven Samurai, Yojimbo The Hidden Fortress and The Bad Sleep Well, except the Samurai Trilogy. Considering that all the Admirals´appearance and, to a certain extent, their personality is based on famous actors in their most popular role, this drawing is somewhat interesting. It is also peculiar that Oda drew Mifune with horns and now introduced a character named Ryokugyuu (Green Bull).
Another interesting fact is that there is a movie in the Zatoichi series called "Zatoichi meets Yojimbo" in which both Shintaro Katsu (Zatoichi) and Mifune (Yojimbo) play side by side. In the movie, Zatoichi is hired by a rich merchant while Yojimbo is hired by the son of said merchant. Considering that Fujitora and Ryokugyuu were both conscripted by the Marines, it could be a parallel, at least somewhat. Furthermore, one of the gang leaders Yojimbo tricks in the 1961 movie is called Ushitora, which consists of ox/bull and tiger.
Considering all that, it is not unlikely that Mifune is really going to be the inspiration for the newest Admiral Ryokugyuu. The thing with Mifune is though that he has way more than one memorable role. I mean, Shintaro Katsu was pretty much Zatoichi, Yusaku Matsuda´s (Aokiji) most remembered role is the detective Shunsaku Kudo in Tantei Monogatari, Bunta Sugawara often played the same type of character that personality-wise resembles Akainu and of course Kunie Tanaka as Borsalino in Truck Yaro.
Mifune on the other hand has so many memorable roles that are sometimes so different. The calculative and smart Ronin Yojimbo Sanjuro, the naive, goofy but lovable, wannabe samurai Kikuchiyo in Seven Samurai, the bandit in Rashomon, the master swordsman Musashi in the Samurai Trilogy and so forth but if that drawing should really be a hint of the Ryokugyuu´s design, it´s probably Yojimbo.
I think remainig admiral would be female and most probably luffy's mom
Very nice summary MiyamotoMusashi :D
Yeah… Better just embrace it now: Ryokugyu aka Green Bull will be modeled after Mifune.
Nice Theory :)
I'm looking forward to Green Bull.

Why would u quote me without reading what i wrote. I said the island had nothing to do with Enel but the reader can reconnect that enel was in Urouges Homeland (destroyed it?) so maybe if the strawhats meet Urouge at some point Enel could reappear hence Urouge had a cause to fight along them against Enel once more. I dont know in which way Enel will appear again. As i wrote most likely it will have something to do with his coverstory.

Nice points of research. Seems very likely that Mifune's design will be used at some stage, but I can't shake the feeling that there will be some kind of seven samurai related story in Wana Kuni. Probably involving the characters from the film as inspirations for the master samurai on the island, and some sort of invasion plot involving either Kaido or the WG.
So what do people expect for next chapter? Entire focus on Block C? Seeing what Nami & Co. are up to? Everyone meeting at the Flower field (?), or maybe a little bit more of the Law vs Fujitora vs Doflamingo fight?
I think we will see some Block C action (a majority) + some Thousand Sunny action, and some Law + Fuji + Doflamingo action. But I think the main focus will be on Block C.

That's some good fanart. Even though I can't understand what they're saying.
So, he is going to be introduced in chapter 748
ooh so Green Bull is most likely going to be Mifune
cool
though I can't help but wonder, supposing GB ended up being based off a woman actress, would Oda actually draw her with human-sized breasts? It seems as of late he can't draw a single girl without giving her D cups
That's some good fanart. Even though I can't understand what they're saying.
He's saying he's going to whole cake island or something along those lines.
Every single D we've met has had it in the middle position. If he were a D, it would be Montblanc D Noland, or Oda would have his name as Nolan(D) Montblanc.
Also, Roger became known as "Gold Roger" by the masses, after he became famous. People who personally knew him knew him as "Gol D." Whereas everyone, from his crew to his close friends, called him Noland.
Could be Nolan D. Montblanc, but I'm obviously stretching it.
He's a guy that dealt with WG anyway so he could have hid his D.
Anyway…as I said, it's just a very little chance and a supposition, not selling it as #fact :)
@Miyamoto
Great theory you got there.
Makes perfect sense.

Not necessarily.
It'sa clear indication of what Oda finds 'cool' and such things usually have a way of working their way in.
Note Oda's expressions of interest in cattle in the past, in particular the Scottish Highland during his 2011 trip to Mother Bokujo in Chiba, the horns seen there being very similar.

Some people don't like being called a Tiger, or Bull, or Rhino. They are known for being ferocious.
By "in general", that's really vague. I apologize. It depends on the person, really. Anyway, calling an admiral Green Ox is actually an honor. Green Cow or Green Bull, it's a code name reserved for an extremely high ranking officer.
i hope Violet is an okama.
This situation just seems too good to be true for Sanji. and depending on Sanji's reaction to it, it could prove to be rather progressive and raise everyone's respect for him a little while resolving the whole okama thing.
just imagine, "One with the heart of a maiden, is still a maiden!!! -DON-" yeah, i think that would immediately make me like Sanji again.
i'll keep dreaming over here

I think Icel was suggesting that Violet, unlike Ivankov and Bon Kurei, would still identify as a woman. Hence Sanji's line.
But it will never happen because Oda.
Hopefully we see what Nami's group is up to this coming chapter along with more of Block C. Honestly every plot thread in Dressrosa right now is interesting and any progression is nice haha

Wouldn't him saying that just because Violet is attractive be demeaning?
I doubt he'd say that if the more comically looking okamas identified as female.
Lmao @people going on about what Fuji said
Fuji: I was just testing my power
Come on people don't get your hopes up for nothing, we ain't gonna see Fuji do anything much more badass or dangerous as that. When Kizaru appeared, with one kick he blew up a mangrove tree and he went
Kizaru: oops I think I over did it", but since then he never did anything more than that.
