Wow. I mean, I know he had had a stroke and all, but I never thought last New Years Eve would be the last time I'd see him on screen.

      R.I.P. Dick.

[And if the band you're in starts playing different tunes
I'll see you on the dark side of the moon]

My mom will probably be saddened by this. May he rest in peace.

Didn't we just lose Mike Wallace the other day?

Well, at least he lived to a fairly good age. And a good body of work behind him.

Had the honor of meeting him multiple times when I was in my teens (my stepfather's dad was friends with Clark) and he was a one in a million man.

If you are gonna shoot, shoot. Don't talk

              RIP Eli Wallach

New Years Rockin' Eve won't be the same without him.

                  Fuuuuuck. No.

All I can think of are all the times friends would point out that he needs to retire from doing New Years, and how much I'd wish they'd shut up about that. And now he's dead. =(

Rest in piece, good sir. A thousand pardons to his family, friends, and fans.
