! I remember someone on SA wondering if it was Monobear Sakura couldn't ever beat when she first told Naegi about there being someone she fought and could not defeat. The long silence after Naegi asked her if it was her Father only served to strengthen my doubts, and look what we have here. It felt and sounded unbelievable back then, but my God if the theory was actually true. Also, I wonder whether by hostages Monobear means the students or someone really important to Sakura herself.
! The best part of this update, however, was the slight progression in the relations between Naegi and Kirigiri. I'm usually against pairing and all that, but those two would be too cute together. Indulge my innocent fantasies more, DR. Me likey :3

Ok my predictions for this chapter:
Possible victims
! Sakura: Highly possible for her to be the one killed this time, for story reasons, I bet once Naegi decides to talk to her about what he heard he will find her dead. During the investegation and trial we will then find out if she really was the mole or not.
! Hagakure: He became awesome now, so im a little afraid for him, this game can be a dick sometimes.
Possible culprits:
! Aoi: This would only probably happen if she found out about the Sakura thing someway.
! Hagakure or Fukawa/Syo: Both comic relief characters and I can't imagine both of them living pass this chapter, if one of them became the culprit it would only be because of the next motive Monobear is going to come up with.
! I don't know if it's because it's midnight here or what but Hagakure's whole conversation had me on the floor laughing.

Plenty of kids are stuck in their house studying, and going to recitals without ever having a chance of living like an actual person. You know, those kids that cried when they got a 95 on their exam? His parents are probably more to blame rather than he himself being born in the wrong time.

I honestly think that, just maybe, Naegi and all the other students did have a normal life at Hope's Peak Private Academy in a class together. But then something happened shortly, maybe a few days or a month later, and their memories were erased of them being in the same class.

Well let me guess what will happen since this update gaves us lot of stuff:
! The murder manages to unlock one of the locked doors, then he kills someone(with poison most likely) drags the corpse to the unlocked room, does something so that it appears that it was Monobear that killed and finally destroys the UNLOCKED door, bam done.
! It seems kirigiri has some personal issues with the headmaster
! My best guess is that incident that happened one year ago involved our main characters in some way, maybe that is also related to why they don't have their memories of being together.
! Maybe the start of the game happened before the incident and they had a normal life at the high school. Later the incident happened and they got their memories erased somehow.
! Hagakure is slowly becoming my favourite character, next to Naegi and Ishida. He's just so upbeat or skeptic about everything, and I'm interested in hearing about his many "lawsuits", ha ha.
Out of topic, I've started a Phoenix Wright Let's Play recently on the SA forums, and orenronen (the creator and translator for the Dangan-Ronpa LP) is volunteering to do some updates from time to time that discusses localization differences between the Japanese and English version of Phoenix Wright, along with translating some game production notes from Capcom. He's a big fan of Phoenix Wright. If you like reading that kind of thing, I'd recommend you to go check for his updates during Dangan-Ronpa downtimes!
