Okay so, despite the premise being a bit meh as far as them stretching one single main dramatic plot point for (soon to be) five whole seasons at least, I have to say I enjoy watching this.
However a few days back I saw an episode that…..well, have you ever seen/read something that made every single ounce of suspension of disbelief fly right out the window and forced you to (at least mentaly) stand up and say "NO, this does not happen !" ?
I had this reaction to an episode with the following plot (part of it anyway): guy mugs main character, then at the trial the judge orders said main character who is both main witness and victim of the crime this person perpetrated, to act as HIS legal defense, because, as she stated out loud, she wants to get to lunch soon.
The sheer stupidity of this moment overwhelmed me, no amount of "quirky" in the world can justify this, and it makes me wonder if Sony Pictures think the audience is that dumb. I mean not only is this unconstitutional, and to such a decree that you're basicly giving the guy grounds to pronounce the entire trial illegitimate, but you are buttfucking your career to such a massive extent that I don't think coming to lunch twenty minutes earlier can realy be worth it.
