Okay, after seeing the episode, I will admit some parts dragged on…but at this point, it's the kind of dragging we've seen so much before that it barely registers anymore. Yes, there were shots of the kids looking shocked. Yes, Sanji's group seemed to be running in place rather than running away. But you know what...that grayscaling...
But in all seriousness, the episode really was just AVERAGE. This episode definitely could've been done better with its pacing and art, but overall, it wasn't bad. Toei is really trying to play up the drama of the children's dillema, and I'm okay with that. Hell, I actually "cared" this time. Nami's resolve for the situation was handled better than how I thought Toei would do it. The music used was fairly good w/ some new pieces I didn't recognize, and some of that ending animation w/ Sanji and Franky…they really nailed the "Oomph!" to their attacks. The comedy in the episode was pretty good. I loved how each SH was actually catering to the interests of some of the kids. I laughed out loud when Sanji actually had some "fans". XD Robin's imagination continues to charm me..."Zoro and Usopp used Surf"!, and Brook building a little snowman army was actually the perfect kind of filler to show what he was up to while waiting for Luffy and the others.
Overall, I give this episode a 5.5/10. I'd probably only watch this episode again for some of the comedy bits, Sanji going SSJ, and Franky's "Rocket Punch".
