Well, I did some research on AP,and I could not find a topic on predictions, so I made one. Here I believe we should make predictions on the manga, One Piece. It would be cool if something we predicted was right. Well, here I go. I have a LOT of predictions.
Read on: lmk if you agree with anything you see.
Enjoy!
Within the next few chapters(after the current flashback), Franky decides to join Luffy's(well, it was Luffy's…. read farther) crew. When the crew(Zoro, Nami, Chopper, and Usopp)+Franky eventually meet up again, they discover that a couple of their members are still lost (Sanji, Luffy, and Robin). Usopp, the self-proclaimed leader of this"crew", decides he will be captain. (like he always wanted) After a few scattered fights between the new "Usopp's" crew and cipher pol no.9, Sanji appears with his "plan" that he had been keeping since chapter 240. He reveals that he had gathered all of the "fighting chefs" from Baratie and was planning on defeating the "villains" to make Robin come to her senses. Zeff, who is now "no-shoes" Zeff (he somehow lost his other leg) is taken by cipher pol no.9, which causes Sanji to break down and eventually "power-up" to defeat Lucci in one tremendous kick.
With one of their members down, cipher pol no.9 retreat(with "no-shoes") and discuss another plan.
(the next few chapters, I believe will take place mostly underwater):
Zoro and Nami, dive underwater to attempt to find Luffy,(no one knows where he is) while Chopper, Usopp (current captain),and Franky go back in the mansion now that the fire has died down. Sanji takes the only remaining chefs(Patty and Carne),back to Baratie. Zoro and Nami (underwater in some sort of scuba gear), search around the place looking for Luffy. On the way, they find Gol D. Roger's sunken ship (it is loaded with treasure). Zoro, who does not care about the treasure, leaves Nami alone while he goes in search for Luffy. This was a bad mistake for Zoro, because soon Arlong comes along to pester Nami on Gol D. Roger's ship, which leaves Nami alone to fight Arlong (underwater!!) Meanwhile in the mansion, Chopper, Usopp, and Franky search frantically for Luffy. While searching through the rubble, they meet another pirate searching for Luffy. That's right, Captain Buggy is back. After some squabbling, Chopper, Usopp, and Franky form a temporary alliance with Buggy until they can find Luffy.
Sanji, Patty, and Carne arrive at Baratie, and discover Robin and Mihawk enjoying a meal together. Sanji warns Patty and Carne to stay back as he listens in on their conversation: Robin says she wants Mihawk to help her discover a certain "secret" about the world. Mihawk says "State your name, woman," and Robin gives Mihawk a false name to throw him off track. Mihawk then declines Robin's offer and suggests she join back with the "swordsman of immense strength"(he is talking of Zoro)
Then Sanji, who acts like he did not hear the conversation, walks up to the table and asks Mihawk to help them defeat cipher pol no.9 . Once again, Mihawk refuses (to me, it sounds like Mihawk has gotten rusty after time, and is scared.) So Sanji asks Robin why she left the crew and Robin says," I already told you, I am evil". Then Sanji gives a moving speech about how it does not matter what you've done in the past, you can always change. Robin is brought to tears,(cue flashback of Robin at age 15.) After the flashback, Robin decides to come back "for a while", and Sanji and Robin head back to meet up with the crew.
Now, Zoro eventually hears Nami screaming underwater, and heads back to the sunken ship. He confronts Arlong, and Nami and Zoro both simultaneously "poke" him with their respective weapons (Nami's pole comes down horizontally on Arlong's forehead and Zoro's sword slashes Arlong vertically in the stomach, cutting him into pieces.) Zoro and Nami surface for a few moments then go back underwater.
Usopp, Chopper, Buggy(who is constantly arguing with Usopp about who is the leader), and Franky, eventually find Luffy who is out-cold. Chopper finds a way to heal Luffy's injuries and Luffy wakes up. The first person Luffy sees is Buggy (this becomes important later).
Sanji and Robin come back to the mansion and find Luffy and his crew. They meet up again. After some dialogue between Robin and Luffy, the crew decide to head back to where they left Zoro and Nami. Along the way, Sanji discovers the "fish-meat"(which is Arlong's body) rising at the surface of the water and exclaims,"This is what I've been looking for!! This is the perfect fish to eat!!"
Usopp, Franky, and Sanji dive underwater to go look for Zoro and Nami, and they also discover Gol D. Roger's ship. During their search for Nami and Zoro, Usopp discovers the "One Piece" lying on top of a shaft in a hole (you see, it is Usopp's dream to prove himself, if he could just get the "One Piece", all of the world would renown him as a great pirate.) Usopp keeps the knowledge of the "One Piece" a secret from Zoro, Nami, Sanji, and Franky. Eventually, though, Nami, who is a "master of interrogation" according to Usopp, gets the info out of him.
Though the struggle, the 4 of them can not reach the "One Piece". Zoro realizes this first and tells the others to follow him (they can speak underwater through radio-like devices) When they reach the top, a startling revelation comes to Zoro's mind. If they could get Robin to use her Hana-hana fruit powers, she could reach the "One Piece". But Robin cannot go underwater. Robin submits to the test, and stands on the shore while uses her powers through coordination with Zoro's guiding her hands underwater, and she eventually gets to the "One Piece". Once she knocks the "One Piece" out of the hole, Zoro grabs it and resurfaces. Buggy reveals his true intentions and challenges Zoro for the prize. "A rematch," Zoro says, and he gladly accepts. During the duel, Robin secretly interferes and uses her fruit powers to grab Buggy's legs from underground. Zoro pins Buggy with his three-swords and wins the duel. Buggy eventually softens up and joins Luffy's crew. Now Zoro, who has the "One Piece" in his possession, talks to Luffy and says, "You deserve this, I have no use for it." And Luffy responds, "That's okay, but I want to be the one to find the "One Piece". Luffy then grabs the "One Piece" and uses his gomu-gomu powers to blast the "One Piece" into the middle of who-knows-where.
Now Buggy, revealed to be a musician(the musician Eiichiro Oda always hinted towards!!), finds it a necessity to remain on Luffy's crew. Buggy believes that this way he will someday be able to "get back" at Shanks.(by staying on the "straw-hats".) During the next few pages,(when the crew is getting to know each other) Buggy overhears Sanji talking about the "All Blue". "That place does not exist", reveals Buggy, who has searched the sea in its entirety. Sanji says," I do not care, I've got the best fish-meat in the world." (he is referring to Arlong)
The newly formed crew (consisting of 9 members) heads back to the Going Merry to continue in the search for cipher pol no.9 . When they get there, the ship, battered and broken, doesn't appear as if it can go any longer (the Going Merry is the "crew member" that has to leave that Oda talked about.)
Franky decides to build the "straw-hats" a new ship. It is called the "Going Franky".
This ends the water 7 arc and begins the next arc where the crew searches for "no shoes" and cipher pol no.9 .
Does anyone think any of this will come true??
What if this whole story came true!!
