I guess you gotta be into stuff like Violence Jack and Kongou Banchou to give this series a chance since Oyaji gives off similar vibes in the first couple of chapters. Those who keep reading will come to realize that this guy is more than just a man of a few words with monstrous strength and a violent past.

Despite the so-so quality of the translations and the rough art, which I bet will make some think of Baki, this series manages to deliver some of the most touching scenes I've seen in a seinen manga.

The third volume was recently translated from french to english by a member of Japanzai, but the quality is much better than the scanlations done by SlayerJR back in 2009.

I really wish the guy who did the translation for the third volume would go back to translate the first two.

I'd put it up there with Kurosawa as one of my favorite seinen series of all time.

Its really short and not that good imo(almost generic)
I mean if you're into the badass old man seinen kinda story go read Vinland Saga or Black Lagoon
