everybody is free to spend their money, but we need to be aware that mh is increasing prices too much lately, and even though we are collectors we should not start spending double the prices for kid and franky "because i love them", on the opposite we should not buy them so that prices drop to a normal value. we should not pay so much for stupid multiple hands or accessories that we'll hardly use more than once. Figures got more expensive in the last year or so, so let's not help mh keep prices even higher by hurrying buying en masse kid or franky !

Recieved the Super Modeling Soul opening Film Z set, FAZ Ain, Super Styling Usopp Film Z and Zoro, Nami and Chopper Film Z statue trading figs.
Super Modeling Soul Opening, this set is much nicer than the last one, their alittle bigger and the quality is better. Robin's face is perfect, I really like this set. Chopper has 2 bodies to choose from. I don't really care for Brook but his is pretty cute, Brook cute…

Very funny Maggie. No, you are not the only one. I also thought his buttcrack impression on the fur was a bit odd. Although, one could say that Law is an animal rights activist; he is just strutting a badly made synthetic fur coat. ha.. ha Joking aside though, I can't come up with a good explanation for his contorted pose and long torso.

I'd be happy if they made him Franky size and put him on his hind legs. That's one of my gripes about the DX one (which is still better than pretty much everything else Banpresto has put out in the last few years on that matter.) is that he's on all fours and just doesn't look right (aint re-read EL in a while but I honestly can't remember him ever being in that pose) if Megahouse did it I'd love to see some extras like pre-TS head and Post-TS head. Maybe they could give us some mini figures of the crew like they did with Shirahoshi so we can re-enact EL or that he can look in scale or a mini Kumadori that can fit in his hand for smashies.
Although Megahouse will find a way to gloriously screw that up. Despite Kung-Fu being so much awesome he only works if you put him with Robin (And imagine she is using some giant clones of herself) or Shirahoshi because the needlessly small scale just hurts him. Actually makes me wonder if the reason that we haven't got other points is because Megahouse can't market him as cute and small. Shame because I can honestly see his Horn, Walk and Heavy points doing better than a lot of the crap they are putting out these days.
And that Law is clearly strippable. Everyone else who had a indent for their buttcrack in their clothes were.

Although Garp Ver.0 retailed for 7,480 he's a lottery figure so it's difficult to get him for that price. If WB Ver.0 is a standard Mekke! online exclusive then we'll probably see him for around 9,240 yen (including tax), but we won't see any price reductions, and places like BiJ will add on domestic shipping and their usual service fee, so we'll probably see him up for around 11k.

I think people are just panicked as a direct result of what happened with the Strong World WCF's. There are still a lot of people out there who haven't been able to get them for an affordabale price. It's the same hysteria that caused so many of us to jump on the Garp Ver.0 re-release bandwagon!

Got mi POP Kid from HLJ today, he is so H-U-G-E ¡¡ And quality for me is awesome, well is my second POP so far since my first Ace (the arabasta one :jaja:) so im kinda impressive now. I found space near my thousand sunny model kit since his arm takes so much space hahaha. Im very glad with this xmas present, a little late but meh xDD.

Welcome back, for me its since HLJ and BIJ didn't stock them and Ive yet to find some characters anywhere at an affordable price. Thier definately not as readily available as past sets to people outside of Japan atleast. I seen lots on YAJ but I don't want the full set or to pay even more with proxy fees and all. Ive only seen 1 set and Franky on Manda so far.

I think there was super styling trading fig of that green sweater SW fig aswell, the only Robin fig I can think of that may fit what your looking for is the POP limited repaint of Robin from the Skypeia arc. There wasn't much made of Robin before the time skip.

I took 1UP up on his free snack offer and got a foil Neo Navy card, it has Ain in front with Zetto and the pajama shuriken guy in the back. Cool card.

…What's wrong with Shiki? We have 12 different sculpted figures of the Straw Hat crew from Strong World (not counting repaints), as well as non-canonical Strong Edition figures of Shanks and Ace. I don't see how making a sculpt of Shiki, the movie's villain who has been intricately woven into the backstory of One Piece, can be considered "grasping for ideas"... :cwy:

So HLJ put the Film Z vol1 WCF up at some point and their all sold out already, I know since I just saw Sanji and was able to order him but all the other are showing as discontinued. When the hell did they go up? I checked last night at 4am est and today at 12 noon. So I'm assuming they went up tonight and sold out very quickly.
Would have loved to get Nami and Robin from them for 1000yen.

I like the glasse/ponytail in strong world but I wish they had it in the green sweater variant. I'd also like the enies lobby black dress version but to no avail. I'm hoping in the future they'll do better prints of Robin. Nami is even worse because her regular outfit is just her in a bikini. lol I just find all the breast exposing tasteless, I know it's their character and fan service, but it be nice to have conserative versions so I don't feel like a creepy perv having a statue of one lol -

Appreciate the feedback, bottom line is I better wait rather than settle for something I'm not completely in love with. It really sucks though, robin reminds me so much of my gf, cus they have the same mannerism's and same facial features really. So robin is one of my fav's and she got the short end of the stick, typical :((((((

There are plenty of great Robin figures out there. I should know. But yeah she's getting the short end of the stick when it comes to figures since Hancock and Shirahoshi are both more marketable. Megahouse seems to have figured it out however. We got plenty of Robin last year with SA, limited re-issue and first Z announcement with Chopper.
Eternal Calender Robin is also very awesome and worth considering too. There was a FAZ about 2 years ago that was okish. Romance Dawn IK of her was average. GLM was…..I didn't like her so much. Better than looked initially but just doesn't feel very Robin. And I have no hope at all that they are still planning on releasing FAZ Saboady Robin or Chibi-Arts Robin anymore.

Had a nice surprise in managing to get my parcel from 1up very quickly. Thanks! Got WCF Animal Chopper + Bird Z Nami, Robin and Brook. Also got some smaller WFC figures of Robin and Chopper. Unfortunately looks like the white paint guy got excited with Chopper and he has huge white spots all over the hat. Robin Z has some very poor QC on parts of her too. Animal Chopper is kinda meh too, mainly the disguise cloth ruins him. He does look hilarious in that he's dressed like an underwear thief does. So he needs to be displayed behind the girls.

It's a real shame they never released Robin EL version, that's her best looka like in the whole serie IMO. I wouldn't be so pessimistic as you Cyber-R, I totally can imagine they'll come up with a limited POP at some point, it'd look so great, I can't imagine they won't do it… Damn, she's so beatyfull with that outfit, as well as beeing from her most importrant arc to date.
Same goes with Zoro and his first outfit with green belt and white tshirt. Doesn't make much sense they didn't pull him on pop eather, so I'm waiting for a limited version of him dressed like this too (took his FAZ battle version for the time beeing).

Probably, as they are releasing FAZ Battle versions, they could release her as such, but as an Enies Lobby version since all of them (the Straw Hats) have the suits of that arc.
PS: I love that WCF Z Film Robin. Looks so nice.

Yeah we might see her, chopper and franky get EL releases. Although considering we've already seen most of this year's stuff I'll be surprised to see it anytime soon. (It took over a year to get Sogeking for example.) I think they are more happy with constant Hancocks and Aces to overlook the fact that half the main cast still don't have pre-TS versions however. So annoying.
And yeah Z Robin looks really nice. Her face overall feels more like Robin, and even the correct colours on her eyes make all the difference.

Wow… that very noticeable neck/head line makes him an easy pass. I really had high hopes for this figure since I thought the winner will get a special treatment for the finished product. I guess Jango will be my only scultures in volume 1. :sad:

I saw the Wiper in-person at my local toy store/crane game place yesterday… really disappointing.
The seams are super noticeable (head, arm, mohawk, etc.) but the worst part is that he's tiny. Like 6 inches tall. I thought this was supposed to be Master Stars Piece, which produced 10 inch tall Luffys and Jotaros, and even an 8 inch Naruto, midget that he is?
Well, that reviewer highly recommends it, at any rate. Maybe I'll pick it up when it drops down to around 1000 yen.

Got grandline lady robin today. Shes pretty excellent too, this is the first one ive got in that series since nami or bonney didnt look very good IMO.

And she brings a much needed feminine touch to the rest of my collection (never realized how i didnt have any grandline or FAZ girls till now)

OMG that Scultures Wiper… Banpresto just outdid themselves in proving this thread title.
The seamline between his neck and head is the worst. Same case with Scultures DB II Krillin.He's also so small, around 13 cm. They also make Lunch of Scultures DB II smaller than that.
With the expectation around the tournament, the final execution is so appalling and laughable.
Banpresto deserve to receive the award of this thread. -

I decided to get Wiper. I really like the sculpt and at worst, I can fix and repaint it if it annoys me that much. I'd like to get Jango too, but he seems to take a lot of space with his jacket. At least my expectations are really low for this line and since they're generally pretty cheap so I can be ok with it.
