….Is it bad that I'm more interested in those BB figures than in the Sabo POP? XD

I mean I'm seriously considering skipping him in favor of BB Robin, even though she won't be out for months. I was excited about him, but with money being a little tight right now, I think I may pass at least until the end of the year. He's a little stiff looking, though I want him in my collection. Maybe I'll get Violet instead. Her pose and colors are nice.

But I do kind of need that Robin, crazy boobs and all. The Nami figure is kind of cute too, though her mouth looks a little odd, like sexy doujin odd. I like her colorful bikini and pose, but yeah I'm still on the fence about her.

Oh and the sculpt for Corazon is spot on and definitely worth getting. I'm glad he's so popular hopefully they'll make several nice figures of him aside from the ones that have been revealed thus far.

I think Megahouse are big enough now to sell figures themselves without having to rely on distributors like they did in the past. I think it was Louis who explained that by selling the figures themselves they can keep "the price down", which if you look at the RRP you can kind of see…....but since distributors aren't able to bulk order as they used to we lose the 20% discounts we were accustomed to at amiami, HS, etc........

If they were to wake up tomorrow morning and decide that they no longer need distribution channels they would have to compensate by expanding their workforce exponentially (a shiny new multilingual customer service department, shipping & handling department, packing supplies, trucking fees, new website etc etc). Guess who is going to offset the financial burden for MegaHouse's increased overhead? Hint: You.

3. Did Megahouse raise the price for the POPs. The normal sized figures seem more expensive compared f.e. the Marineford Luffy and Ace.

Figuarts is still hit and miss, Ive only bought a couple as of late but they were pretty nice. Baby 5, Luffy dynamic attack and Zoro Onigiri were all nice.

The price has gone up on POPs.

Yeah sure that Megahouse have no wish to actually get the international into their calculation, i'm still glad some store are able to offer them though actually the price and the demand is not the same.

Aside of that i wanted to ask for Creator x Creator Zoro is about to be release but i still didn't get any invoice from big in japan, is it normal?

In general Figuarts Zero quality have shot up compared to years ago.
Compared to when we were getting Camie & Pappag, Coby & Helmeppo, Enel, etc, the sculpt and paint quality is far better.
I haven't really been disappointed with the final products in the recent years, at least with the ones I got.

Welp broke down and bought that nami BB, i havent bought a pop since the first version of blackbeard. But the crunchyroll deal swayed my wallet, along with the curves and all that jazz. Shipping pretty much equaled out the deal though to be honest.

The only series I've been sticking to regularly is One Piece Figure Collection (not to be mistaken for WFC), but I've been unable to find the latest set that's to be released. I know they release a new set about every 4 months, and the last set (in link) was released 4 months ago… Any word on the newest one that should be out about now? Am I just unlucky and miss the pre-orders for it?

And I saw the Luffy King of Artist figure in a local bookstore. Looks like a nice figure, but it was $44, while online has them for cheaper. While I'd love to support my bookstore for carrying One Piece merch, lower prices are hard to argue with. $24 sound about right for this figure?

It's about 1500-2000 yen preowned unopened in Japan, so that sounds good. I saw it at my local bookstore too but it was $45. Don't let them rip you off (too harsh of a word really but best I can come up with), even if you want to support them.

Thanks! Figured as much. I was so caught off guard seeing some actually OP merch that I nearly bought it on the spot, plus I've been out of the loop enough to not be aware of the figure (familiar with Banpresto though).

There's none for pre-order because I believe there's just none planned for release! At least not at the moment.

Figure Candy and Styling are the longest running OP mini-figure series and are the only 2 lines still standing. There used to be new mini figure sets almost every month in the past years of my active collecting (HOOKs, Log Box, Chara Petite, Half-Age characters, etc-etc-etc) and now there's just none for OP. Stylings have slowed down significantly with their releases too and like I said above, I believe there's still no next FC sets announced even though the last one was out 4 months ago, like you mentioned. I haven't even seen much/any new keychains either.

One piece WCF is still going strong and it will always be for as long as there is One piece. This is due because WCF is in itself a very strong and versatile line. The fact that it is for crane machines helps it a lot as these machines need to be restocked to continue the business.
The WCF in relation to OP have slowed down a bit due to other properties being released like marvel and dragon ball.

Agreed. An entirely one sided fight with no hope of laying a finger on doffy, but the resolve was there….....lol..........

She set me back 5,000 yen excluding shipping...........considering she retailed at 8,500 i'll pretty happy with that.......closest to half price I was gonna get I think........

Yeah, that looks legit to me….......mine is also pretty tanned.........it depends on the lighting...........he doesn't look that bad in my display.........

To me, all 3 of the newest Law POPs have dark skin. I don't have 2.5, but I have fully clothed Law and Shirtless!Law and their skin is rather tanned looking. It doesn't look VIBRANTLY orange with the lighting of my room but it's definitely got a bit of that fake tan glow to it lol. In fact, the Doflamingo POP is like that too. His skin is worse than Law's. I think the PH Law POP's skin tone is toned down enough it's acceptable, but it seems to be more vibrant in Law 2.5 and Shirtless Law. But I think it REALLY depends on the lighting. In flash pictures Shirtless Law looks pretty orange but I have a bright, white light in my room and it looks just fine.

Kolektakon gets my vote as well. I've had too many issues with Crunchyroll, and you're almost GUARANTEED to wait an extra 2-6 full months to get your figures when using Crunchy.

I'd pick him up used off marketplace if I can find one under 4000yen.

Since completing my Medicos SAS collection (I will have 38 JJBA figures once Dio arrives!!) i'm starting to eye-up those Dragon Ball SH Figuarts........but man are those some crazy prices!! Trunks for 40,000 yen on Manda! So pleased some of them are getting advanced color re-releases.

As Louis said, week of 6th most likely for Megahouse/Tamashii. No idea what's going up next for POP/VAH as we have no releases announced for October. POP Robin Ver.BB and VAH Sabo seems like our next PO, although the former hasn't been shown painted yet. Don't expect Hancock & Rosinante+Kid Law will be released until end of the year / early 2016…..........

Tamashii have the 5th Anniversary Zoro going up, followed by the Luffy+Law Figuarts Zero............but that looks about it for scaled figures..........

As i've said numerous times before, DragonBall is my priority now, with DOD Trunks going up, and the new Goku Awakening Version SHF!

SCultures Sabo by far, more dynamic pose and better sculpt/quality for sure

I recieved Creator X Creator Zoro today, very nice. Not as big as Luffy but it is still a bit larger then your average Scultures. Very happy considering how cheap the cost was.

You mean the King Of Artist one? i preordered it already, because this one looks good for a a good price, i own the Luffy ones and they are great, i have faith that this one will looks good too!
