WOW!! I totally wasn't expecting this bikini version from Film Z - Glorious Island!!!! That's epic!! Over sexualized!! But I love it!!
Late September release….......and is that price 8424 yen?? Oh well..............atleast this figure is closer to canon than the previous Mugi ver.
Lets see what else Megahouse hit us with next week!!

It was from Glorious Island which was a short prequel to the movie revealing what the strawhats were up to before they ran into Z. The short had a lot of fan service, including a suggestive swimming scene with Nami!! I hope the figure comes with her sunglasses!!

I've gotten the text translated by a fellow colleague but I didnt think to ask about the stamps. I'll do that tomorrow. They're real, at least, it's not something that's just been printed out. And yes, I too think Odas drawings should cost a lot. I wonder what he would charge for one of those colour spreads but it feels like manga artists don't sell random pages and the like from their work (something that especially western comic artists do).
They do, and Oda don't really do signature session either which makes his draws rare and pricey when people sell them, in my opinion it's sad to see people making money out of mangaka's drawing, it reminds me when i meet up Inoue Takehiko, we had to participate in a lottery and for that the french publisher of Inoue's manga wanted fans to buy at least 2 books of Inoue to get in the lottery which is in itself a rip off, but the saddest is that actually the lottery wasn't limited to one time per person, so some people bought many books of Inoue and end up getting a lot of winning tickets and left people with nothing 20 minutes later.From 100 winning tickets the publisher went down to 65 tickets and when we asked how and why is this f…ed up they blamed Inoue for that telling he decided that way, i couldn't get the ticket however Inoue was so nice that he signed up the one that couldn't get a ticket after finishing the winners for an extra 45minutes which showed how Inoue was happy to meet up his fans and discuss with them.
As for the one that got xx tickets some weren't even fans of him, some sold their copy on ebay when they came back home, good thing i got my signature but i will never sell it, Inoue is my #1 favorite mangaka and the signature meaning is linked to the memory chat i had with him and pictures i took with him and the kindness of this guy.

I'm so disappointed by how they are portraying Nami, more and more weird pose and boobs that she does not have, she do have big boobs but not like that, if only they keep it faithful to the Nami we know.I wasn't interest in this Nami to begin with.

Glorious Island is still in the One Piece style, comparing screenshots from the ep and that model it's completely different. I'm happy to have ecchi Nami merch but to me it doesn't look One Piece, it honestly looks Queen's Blade.

Yeah, don't get me wrong. I agree that Megahouse sculptors are taking liberties on the proportion, particularly with the female figures. I've got Violet on her way to me, and I'm still concerned about how "oversized" she is!

Im not a prude either, I love Shuffle! for crying out loud, but there are a number of figures that would bring me a lot of flak if I had bought them considering they go on the shelving unit in the living room. I barely have gotten away with post TS Robin and latest Vivi POPs as it is. Rebecca was a def "not in a million years" from the mrs. She rolled her eyes at this latest Nami. Good thing she isnt averse to be getting Koala, although that may be because she is a huge Sabo fan and wants them as a pair.

I've been hunting an Oda auto for a long, long time. There are a ton of fakes sadly, especially on YAJ. Mandarake Auctions are the best place as they're all verified. Unfortunately kinda impossible to prove validity without seeing it in person or taking it to an expert.
For a price comparison, the pieces that often to the rounds are sign boards which tend to be a reprinted doodle with a legitimate auto, these are usually quite small and for Oda you're looking at about 15,000Y. The other thing that is often available are either signed manuscript reproductions from JUMP competitions and the like which go for about 30,000Y and finally there are reprints of colour spreads, limited produced prints which are signed, these go for between 50,000Y to 75,000Y dependent on the art.
For a real sketch, not reproduced, we're talking hundreds of thousands of yen depending on the sketch itself. If yours is legit, auto real and the sketch isn't a reproduction I'd say easily hundreds of thousands. I'm betting that's a reproduced sketch with a real auto from an older JUMP competition/promotion but it's not one I'm familiar with.
Yeah, it would be great if there was a site somewhere that collected all the signed boards with autographs from Oda, would make it so much better to confirm if it was an original or not. From what you said it's most likely a reprinted doodle with an autograph (it's small and on a sign board + it was overpriced for the doodle but underpriced for the real sketch deal). I wouldn't mind chillin out maybe even 1000k Y (I'm trying to save enough to buy a house but this would be a lot more awesome) for a coloured original, like one of the colour spreads. But I doubt I'll even see one on the market. Ever.

=d True, I normally don't like people who sell celeberties autographs either but in this case I really couldn't help myself. It was as though time stopped and there was no hesitation whatsoever. And while I do believe it's an original, it feels 90% certain or something, chances are it isn't. The seller got good reviews, there's a certificate that looks legit etc but it could be a really, really good fake too. Even the most prestigious auction houses in my sometimes sell works that end up being fake but it's doubtful? =d I'll take it as real anyhow and leave the rest for the historians of the future.
Also, that Nami figure - urgh. Just. Urgh.

The figures are displayed in my room for now, one day if i get a bigger house i'll do a special room for me and display them there, i own some girls in my collection, some with bikini and some with nice cleavages but not those who are outrageous, not my taste.

I'll wait until the final product is out before I make a judgement on her face. I think her eyes look spot on but the mouth… Kinda odd >_> The shape is a little off.
I do like the pose and I think she's nice aside from the water balloon boobs. It DOES look like a Queen's Blade figure lol. I'll get her, because Nami, but I'm wondering if I should bother and order her now or wait a few months/year and see if I can get her for a better price. I've got too much shit coming out in September right now on order.

Yeah, looks about right to me. Nami is 7,800 yen before tax and domestic shipping from Megatrestore, so she'll be close to 9K once you add that on. Plus, for LIMITED's, BiJ and NY act as a pseudo proxy service, so they usually stick another 5% on top to make a profit.
That's why she's retailing for 9Kyen +.

I have to say I'm a little disappointed by the recent POP Nami and DOD Vegeta announcements…...........expecting the whole event to be very Dragonball orientated considering we're weeks away from the new series!!
But what i'm really looking forward to is more Kinnikuman SH Figuarts!!

Based on my experience, the wcf announcements are not done yet. The prize fair runs more than one show. They will continue the fair on a different city 3 more times until June something. They will show more wcf for sure in those locale. Well needless to say you guys are mostly asking about one piece so I'm sure there would be a list of dbz and Kamen rider wcf somewhere online that was show on this event haha.
