I know when they were added, but coopz at the top of the page asked to see them. This was the set y'all were discussing at the bottom of the previous page, right? I don't really collect wcf so I don't follow the sets too closely lol
Also, how much are wcf is demand these days? If I remember correctly they used to be so popular, that it was one of the reasons the collectibles forum was made members only. Btw Lexiy your collection is amazing!:wub:

WCF used to be huge, now not so much.
Some of the older sets are still super expensive, but nobody really cares about them anymore… they're still pumping them out and creating new lines for it, but ultimately it's not as "in demand" as it used to be.
I do want that Corazon one though obviously.

WCF used to be an amazing line to collect. I remember when everyone was pumped about the new releases. I was super excited every time a prize fair would come around. I feel that nowadays the popularity overseas for WCF has gone down quite a bit, hell even I am not too excited about them anymore. They kpe releasing the same figures over and over and not only for One Piece but for DBZ too. I was tired of Luffy's. I saw that Bandai in the US brought some WCF to the U.S, in fact, they have brought almost every new One Piece release starting from the DVD covers sets. I saw them at my local comic shop. They had the purple lettering stickers. But they were selling them for $16 each and had a huge sticker on the side similar to when Taiwan started releasing WCF. I highly doubt this line will die. It enjoys immense popularity in Japan and for what I've been able to see, in HK and Singapore as well. However, it might not be as widely marketed as bigger figures and it is very hard to access unless you're a distributor or live in Japan (not counting the recent waves brought by Bandai to the US.)

Can WCF collectors help me take a look? Ace is from Vol 32. As seen in the picture, the stick supporting him is clear and the texture is smooth. However, as for both figures, Marco and Izo from Vol 33. in the subsequent pictures, the stick supporting is kinda cloudy and the texture is rougher.
Is this the norm? or did I got conned into buying bootlegs? :blink:

What are your thoughts guys? I haven't bought a POP since Fujitora….......I feel like a lot of the figures we are getting now are just rehashes/repaints/updated sculpts (Nami Mugi Ver. 2/Law 2.5, CB-R series, etc.). Then you've got these pre-timeskip 10th Anniversary figures like Ace, Zoro, Bon -chan. To be honest I'm disappointed Megahouse aren't taking more risks on the Sailing Again series. Rebecca & Sugar did really well and the only reason why Bellamy & Viola struggled was their price point. As soon as you slap on a 30-40% discount they fly out the door!!
Would have gone for Kid & Killer if they weren't overpriced LIMITED's.

Yeah, I guess I am also collecting from 80's Shonens like Kinnikuman, Fist of the North Star, Dragon Ball & JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Luckily my Fist collection is complete.
I have got a last wave of JoJo SAS figures next month and then the Kinnikuman SH Figuarts and the new Dragon Ball DOD's to consider though…......so need to be selective with my POP purchases since they continue to release soooo many each year!!

Ah i see you meant deformed trading figures haha well i collect all kind of figures but I'm picky so i don't get everything"one piece" i take what's i like enough to keep because resell is not something i like or good at,recently having space problems so time to do some space by putting some other titles figures back in box,may be to sell them later i don't know.

I've been trying to get an original Eiichiro Oda picture for a while now and about a week ago I finally did! The doodle isn't perfectly centered but I intend to have it framed so it will be less noticeable (the end of the bone to the left will still be unfinished). Ah, I love it, it's gorgeous Of course I can have normal posters and things on my walls but I prefer things like this - just the idea that Oda has personally touched this paper gives me the chills!
My main concern is that it's not an original but the seller also sent a certificate of authenticity to prove that it's the real deal… and it does LOOK real but unfortunetly I do not read japanese and have no idea if that's the case. Does anyone here know? I figure maybe one or two of you might have bought a drawing by Oda as well?
You have to be careful buying draw from mangaka/artist if you don't understand japanese, you can ask for help to get more information before getting it, looks legit from the pics but you never know, hope you didn't paid much for it.

I've gotten the text translated by a fellow colleague but I didnt think to ask about the stamps. I'll do that tomorrow. They're real, at least, it's not something that's just been printed out. And yes, I too think Odas drawings should cost a lot. I wonder what he would charge for one of those colour spreads but it feels like manga artists don't sell random pages and the like from their work (something that especially western comic artists do).
I've been hunting an Oda auto for a long, long time. There are a ton of fakes sadly, especially on YAJ. Mandarake Auctions are the best place as they're all verified. Unfortunately kinda impossible to prove validity without seeing it in person or taking it to an expert.
For a price comparison, the pieces that often to the rounds are sign boards which tend to be a reprinted doodle with a legitimate auto, these are usually quite small and for Oda you're looking at about 15,000Y. The other thing that is often available are either signed manuscript reproductions from JUMP competitions and the like which go for about 30,000Y and finally there are reprints of colour spreads, limited produced prints which are signed, these go for between 50,000Y to 75,000Y dependent on the art.
For a real sketch, not reproduced, we're talking hundreds of thousands of yen depending on the sketch itself. If yours is legit, auto real and the sketch isn't a reproduction I'd say easily hundreds of thousands. I'm betting that's a reproduced sketch with a real auto from an older JUMP competition/promotion but it's not one I'm familiar with.
