Already sent out e-mails pertaining to the issue detailed below, but I'm posting it here as well just in case you haven't received yours for whatever reason.
Dear Customers,
As you know, recently we listed 3 different Limited Edition Portrait.Of.Pirates figures that have been out of print for a while for a second chance to our customers.
As you also may already know, we are an official distributor of MegaHouse Corporation, which means we receive all of our inventory directly from the manufacturer. Which is also why we received this opportunity to offer this to our customers, due to the fact that they discovered they still had a small amount of inventory remaining in one of their Tokyo warehouses. We had ordered and confirmed all of it as usual.
Yesterday, we received some very unfortunate news from MegaHouse as they were preparing to export them to us. The handlers of their subcontracting warehouse failed to notice some serious damage to the roof causing rain leaking. This resulted in all of their inventory intended for Kolektakon being damaged by rain.
We were extremely upset about this, because we never expect such things to occur at the top of the ladder. It's usually a courier that causes damage, if any.
MegaHouse Corporation issued us an apology letter to send to our customers to explain the situation. I've attached it to this email in .PDF format (readable with Adobe Reader and similar software). In their letter, you will find a summary of what I've just explained above.
Due to the damage in the MegaHouse subcontracting warehouse, and the fact that these are limited edition and no longer available, we have no way of acquiring additional units and unfortunately will not be able to fulfill these orders.
I sincerely apologize, everyone. I was really happy to be able to offer these to our customers again at the original price, but there was nothing I could do to prevent unforeseen events on MegaHouse's end.
We can only offer one of the following as an apology:
- Full refund + $5 off next order or pre-order
- Store Credit (for In Stock items
) in the amount you paid (plus $10 additional credit)
