Kid's price is only just gonna go down. Killer will no doubt drop in price too since I can't see many wanting Killer without Kid. As far as I'm concerned there are a few major problems with kid.
1.) Price Tag for a minor character.
2.) Pre-TS design. We could even see Megahouse doing a TS version of him before the end of the year. (But maybe not if they are put off by how much of a flop this one is.)
3.) Accessory. Yeah it's usually nice to have them. But you are essentially paying 9000 yen extra for a big metal arm. Look at Kid's size. As far as I'm concerned that's a figure that should be lumped with Law and Killer in price.
4.) Future. For some reason I can honestly see Megahouse doing a 1.5 Limited version of Kid without the arm accessory later in the year. To try and sell of extra ones they've made.
Sadly I feel that Kid being such a fail and Franky being limited means we'll probably never see the likes of Magellan get a POP. I just don't see Megahouse wanting to take the chance.
I guess it all depends on how well the whole LIMITED thing is working out for them. I have no doubt that a Magellan POP has already been sculpted, but they'll probably wait to see how many orders they recieve for Sadi-chan before they decide whether or not to proceed with marketing him and bringing him to WonderFestival.
It's difficult at this point to know whether MH's production costs have actually risen, or whether they are just getting greedy. I expect it is the latter as having been in the game now for so long i'm sure their pretty good when it comes down production efficiency and reducing overheads.
I reckon per unit, Kid hasn't cost them much more to make than Rayleigh or Enel cost them 12-18 months ago. They're just trying to increase their profit margins by 30%. Shame on your MH…...Shame on you.....

Also, like you said, I fully expect a TS figure to be announced once the Kid/Hawkins/On Air Pirate alliance gets into full swing.
To be honest, their aren't many revealed characters left that I'd like figures of. probably about 10:
SA Sentomaru (Probably my most anticipated POP reveal now)
SA Smoker
SA Tashigi
SA Vergo (Don’t know if we’ll get one considering his defeat, although at least he’s still alive, unlike another character who I guess we’ll never see a figure of now, lol)
Magellan (Maybe, but means I’ll need to get Sadi ;P)
Jozu (Will never happen, but it’d be nice to have him along side WB & Marco)
Yasopp (To go with Marineford Shanks & Beckman)
Sengoku (To go with Marineford Garp)
Buggy (probably best to wait for a TS appearance)
Dragon (probably best to wait for a TS appearance)
Other than than you’ve got the remaining supernovas, but to be honest I only want post TS now with Kid and Killer at the top of my list.

..I honestly don't know how it's going to play out, but my point was I don't think we'll see many figures now other than a WCF. I've been wrong before though, lol
