It's begining to be less the one piece that we all love and it is becoming a commercial rubbish(I'm talking about drawings not the story). Oda characters are starting to look like those of generic harem animes(giants tits, "unreal" looking characters(chooper), looks of the characters(look at Nami she looks like a hooker, now)) just so that make more toys and earn more money. It can be seen trough color spreads

I have to disagree. Just because some art shows Nami and Robin a little scandalous does not mean one piece is changing for the worst.. I think that artists are showed to have fun with the characters they make. Plus what's wrong with showing a little skin? Itsjust a cartoon. I like the z film art.

Oda simply likes to draw busty women and unrealistic characters. Nothing about merchandising except, maybe, Chopper, who became cuter as the series progressed.

The Fanservice isn't that bad.. it's only bad when Fanservice is the only(or one of the few things) thing that is going for the Manga and for a Manga like One Piece, it isn't. It's not like Oda uses Fanservice in every serious moment in the Manga, so I don't really see a huge problem with this, and the story is still fresh and interesting to me, and building up to something great.

On topic: I never said anything about the story, I bothered with the fact that fan service has become much greater after timeskip and I fear that as the time goes on the fan service will increase to the point where even a great story won't be able to save it.

Every time someone makes a complaint about fanservice in One Piece, it always makes me question how much anime they watch.
It's not we're getting non-stop "in-your-face" tits and ass in every chapter.

Really? The drawings don't seem any more fanservice-y now than they did back around the Water 7 Arc. Which I guess means that it began being "commercial rubbish" around four years ago.

Then again, this is a comic book, printed weekly, with the entire intention of turning a profit. There has been merchandise for the various characters in the series since the late 1990's onwards. The series is all about commercialism, in that sense. What exactly is it you mean by "commercial" OunknownO?

It seems you didn't get my point, so I felt obliged to come back to this thread just to make it clearer to you.

Have you ever considered the possibility that the "Fanservice" you talk about could be simply "Author Appeal"? That Oda draws his women with big tits because he's a huge pervert and likes it instead of catering to the fans?

Also, I'm not saying that there's no fanservice, but Oda handles it nicely enough by not focusing an entire panel for it in favor of dialogue or action. That's why the fanservice of One Piece will never ruin the series, because it doesn't interfere with the storytelling at all.
