I'm making a long post and I don't feel like finishing it right now, is it possible to save it instead of just waiting for it to auto-save?
How do you save while making a post.

The forum automatically saves your writing after a couple of minutes, there is no option to tell it to do so far as I know. It doesn't give you the option to restore it unless you leave the page… which is hard to check and doesn't always work.
Copy your text into a word document and save it there is the safest bet.
You can also always just post what you have and at the end say "more on this later."
