Who would win in a sword fight? Roronoa Zoro Vs.(the other) Zorro?
Roronoa Zoro Vs.Zorro
-
-
This was… approved?
-
Yea, o btw, is this really supposed to be in General OP? I've got no idea who this other "zorro" is.
Oh, this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zorro
Moving this to General since it isn't really about OP.
-

From the Ledgend of Zorro. I figured, 2 Swordsmen named Zoro, it'd be a good matchup.
-
It would have to be Zoro.
He has two swords on Zorro.
-
Well I am going with Roronoa, he's way to fast.
-
zoro all the way….
-
Who would win in a sword fight? Roronoa Zoro Vs.(the other) Zorro?
<–- how can zorro be 'the other'. wasnt he the original out of the two?
and roronoa zoro would win, he has 3 blades, and is uber
-
Well, considering Zoro's an anime character and can lose gallons of blood without dying I'd say that Zorro would lose… eventually. It'd certainly be interesting though. The fight would probably be about the name.
Zorro: You stole my name! You must die!
Zoro: No I didn't, it's MY name!
Zorro: No way, I'M the original!
XD
-
This is a bit silly, Zoro's strength is phenominal, whereas Zorro is just the best in California/Mexico/Somewhere in North or Central America(?).
But Zorro has Zoro beat in chivalry and all that other stuff.
And he has a horse.
-
Oh Zoro definitely
-
…? What? This is like putting Luffy against an actual monkey.
-
That'll probably happen now, and just to spite us they'll make the monkey win.XD
-
…? What? This is like putting Luffy against an actual monkey.
And what could possibly be wrong with that? XD
-
Well, I'm not sure how to vote. I dislike Luffy (he's too freaking stupid and perky!) but i hate monkeys.
-
This isn't a fair fight. XD .
Zoro from One Piece is an anime character, meaning special moves/power ups, that a normal human being would never be able to grasp.
Whereas, Zorro is a normal human being, with skills a human being, may, probably be able to grasp.
As you can see, it isn't a fair comparision. But since everyone is going along with it, I will too.
I'll say Zorro, of course
-
Well, I think Zoro has an ethical limit about him.
In a hypothetical situation, where Zoro was given the opportunity to eat a "slicey-slicey" DF, would he? It would make him the best swordsman ever, but it would represent cheating.
-
Zoro would blink and find the Z cut into his shirt…
Zorro is classic cool. Especially if it's Tyrone Power, Douglas Fairbanks on the other hand would be total overkill.
-
Even though I like Spanish Zoro more, I think OP Zoro would win cause he has three blades and hes an anime charecter so that means he can lose 50 gallons of blood and still win against the toughest sowrdsman in the world
-
I have been waiting for someone to come up with this thread!!!!
Even thought Zoro in One Piece is an anime swordsman, I've read that he was realy based off of some realy person named Roronoa Zoro. And get this I also heard he was french, 4 kids is so making pun with the dubbed Mihawk.
The Spanish Zorro isn't real at all, or so I've heard. With that said, who do I think would win? ZORO,ZORO,ZORO!!!!!!!!!

This is a pointless poll. Like anybody's gonna vote for Zorro, except to root for the underdog.
-
I think Zorro would carve a Z in Zoro's shirt, then Zoro would just utterly pwn him into next week.
-
i pm'ed a mod one day with this funny but rather stupid poll as a title, i can't remember each one (i'd say SHL)
it's really pointless i won't decide myself. but bernardo is TEH dude!
-

Hey it could happen!

What is this horrible thread

Sigh…..........

…Zorro is just the best in California/Mexico/Somewhere in North or Central America(?).
It was California, his home base was El pueblo de Los Angeles to be exact, although he covered the entire Camino Real from; South San Diego to Capistrano to San Francisco in the North. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/El_Camino_Real_(California
Also he wasn’t only the best Swordsman in California, but also in Spain, and throughout the world he traveled, throughout the Americas, the Caribbean, and from Europe, to Africa and Asia.
The second Zorro story (1922) was actually a high seas Pirate adventure, where Zorro hunts down and defeats a group of pirates who stole a treasure.<an 80's="" recreation.<br="">In his origin young Zorro joins and learns from a pirate crew, and later meets and befriends Jean Lafitte.
But Zorro has Zoro beat in chivalry and all that other stuff.
And he has a horse.
Also a Mansion and a secret lair under the mansion where he keeps his horse and other weapons in his arsenal. Accessible through a secret entrance behind a grandfather clock.
All of which were some of the inspirations for Batman.</an> -
Goddamn, 2011 .

You're quoting someone who doesn't post here anyone!Hey there’s some who don’t seem to know anything about the original Zorro.
@StrawHatLuffy:I've got no idea who this other "zorro" is.
So I thought I’d share some info on the history of the character.
Since the OP (and obviouslly Oda himself) made an obvious parallel between the two, it’s pretty much germane to the topic of the thread -
Atleast the pic he posted is nice …I guess
-
There are so many things wrong with this.
Awful stupid thread.
Awful stupid thread in the wrong section.
Thread Necromanced.
Thread necromanced TO reply to someone whose last post was over 2 years ago.
And lastly, how can you not fucking have heard of Zorro? Surely at some point in your life, through adverts, or the Internet or something you must have come across the name, or atleast heard of some television or film adaption. Or even damn parodies like that cat in those Shrek films.
-

The name of the forum is discussion though.
I get some being upset about necromancing an old thread, my bad, and what happens when you sign up do a general search and go by topic not the dates. it’s not the end of the world.
I do like discussing, comparing, contrasting the two characters though, as the OP of this thread and obviously Oda himself made obvious and intentional parallels between the two, it’s a great topic.
So this isn’t the thread for it apparently, maybe I’ll start one. One that isn’t mired in a versus…1926…
1996…
1997… -
Great find.
You should be proud of yourself that you at least didn`t create a new thread for that. -
so he bumped the thread only coz he wanted to post the pic?

Yeah and discuss the aforementioned topic Zorro & Zoro.
@Gozar:From the Ledgend of Zorro. I figured, 2 Swordsmen named Zoro, it'd be a good matchup.

Sigh, I'd recommend looking for a topic like this in the OP Discussion Thread or creating one.
