Like, if I PERSONALLY gained weight it would be good, and if I lost weight, it would be bad. But that's not true for all of my friends.
Oh, well, if you're underweight, you want to gain weight, but if you're already overweight to begin with, it's a no-no.

Strange morning.
In the morning I headed over to my soon-to-be workplace for a short meeting with my… well, I guess they're my supervisors? I'm not sure yet, no one has told me 
But they seem nice and welcoming, albeit quite professional. Part of my job is doing data collection, which involves going down to special ed schools to carry out assessment tests and the like with autistic students. That excites me quite a bit The contract stuff still isn't done yet, they said they're still settling it and will probably give it to me on my first day.
A friend of mine started work today in a job that isn't related to psychology but seems to have a wonderful working environment. She gushed over how nice and friendly they were during her interviews, and today she posted a picture of a welcome card that was stuck onto her desk at work, with minions yelling "Bello [name]!", "Whee…!:)", and "We look forward to working with you!" Too. Adorable. /flops
I'm really, really glad that she's got a good job~
Also I just discovered the Youtube Mix function. Yeah I know it's been around for ages but I always avoided it like the plague because I thought it'd send me to annoying ads, or something. Not all the songs are good but it's still fun to have something playing continuously in the background while I do other stuff. Running my own playlists gets really boring after a while.

Just got paid to teach a professional singer how to pronounce German words in various Lieder that they're singing at an upcoming performance. My German has got pretty rusty since I lived there…though I can still follow German news broadcasts fine...but it's a relief to know I can still be of use with it, especially given I'm half-German and it's a little embarrassing being so poorly-spoken in the language now. Also the pronunciation is more difficult for native English speakers than I realised, given how I've become so used to the various sounds, so I was glad I was able to help someone else with it!

So I got updated on the dorm thingy. And I apparently have a roommate due to space reasons.
What the hell do I do guys I don't know how to talk to people, I was half expecting to remain in shut-in mode.
Theres that guy who goes to the same Pool Hall that I go to.
He plays alone, always.
so today I decided to challenge him because I beat all of my friends.
he was quite friendly and he agreed instantly, he gave me the vibes that this is not the first time someone asked him to play out of the blue like I ended.
He ended up foderizing me.
I won one and he won 4, and even that only win I had wasn't satisifing because it was him getting the black ball in by mistake.
But we had a nice chat and I took his number so we can meet again, he go to the same Uni that'll be going to soon, so I'll probably see him there which is cool.

I also had a nice shoor with one of my old friends, He was late and I was getting scared cause I thought that he isn't coming because of the traffic but he did and we had a long chat about life and stuff.

In all seriousness, just relax This actually sounds like a good, easy opportunity to meet someone new and strike up a new friendship. Just be nice, considerate, and friendly! Bond over, like, easy superficial things you have in common first, like being in the same school, stories about how you got in and where you both came fron, etc. He probably wants to have a good relationship wth his roommate too, so don't worry too much about being judged or something.

My day was spent looking for work. It started off with me making a few trips through the city's "furniture sector" and applying at a nutrition store and a furniture & mattress clearance center. There was another furniture and mattress clearance store that I applied to last week and the salesmen there said that they liked my resume and wanted me to return on Monday. I returned there on Monday wearing a business suit and all only to have the same salesmen tell me that their manager's flight was delayed and that he would return the next day. Fair enough. I returned there the next day (yesterday) wearing the same suit only to have the salesmen tell me that the manager won't be in until Thursday because that is the day that he takes inventory. At that point, I knew that these guys were fucking with me so I thought "To hell with them" and moved on with my job hunt.
My last resume of the day was dropped off at an automotive sales park which is located just outside of the city. Unfortunately, since I did not have a car and there are no bus routes to the auto park, I had to wing it by foot. Yeah, I was walking along the side of the highway in a business suit, resume in hand, just so I can get to a damn auto park and possibly get a job interview with management.
After dropping off my resume and nearly getting whipped in the face by a dancing air-filled tube man blocking the office entrance, I made my way back to the first bus stop I could find and took the rest of the way home.
I'm only hoping now that there will be a job interview in the near future but the family and I are going on a trip to North Dakota next week and I am afraid that I will get calls for an interview during the time we are gone. 
I honestly need to get a job right now because I quit my previous job due to personal and professional reasons. I'm hoping this all works out.
