My day was spent stressing over finding a job to supplement my income from freelancing, since it's the dry season (winter) right now, and my bank account isn't looking pretty..
My day wasn't bad. Got myself a Samsung S3. Wanted to wait for an S4 but meh needed it asap! New year beach party ruined my previous phone

Yeah I uh… jumped the gun a little bit. But! We had been trying to talk at work every time we saw each other. And as an added bonus, she probably won't -see- my text for a while since after I texted her, I remember she has a shift from 6AM-10AM after her shift that went to 11PM tonight.
So I hope she doesn't see that timestamp that was like, an hour after I got her number and think "yeah, this dude's clingy." Which might happen but I'll back off a little bit.
But I seriously thought she would say no. I don't know why, but I guess it's a defense mechanism to shield me from potential relationship damage. So even just this temporary moment of elation is enough to get me by

Romantic comedies uplift me as well. They just feel so fluffy and the characters are usually quirky. But I usually hate the inevitable depressing misunderstanding/fallout if it drags out too long. Pokemon also helps! I love the relaxing music of the home towns the most.
I'm leaving early tomorrow morning (3 am) to reach the helipad where I'll be taking a helicopter off to the oil rig I'll be working at. I'll be gone for 2 weeks and probably won't be around here at all during that time frame.
I should be working at an Exxon rig that's supposed to be a large platform located in deep water, so… ya know, it's dangerous.~

I'd love to post something nice and uplifting as my first post here, but NOPE. Jealousy has been eating me up those past two hours to the point of deep finger nail marks all over my arms. And I hate myself for it because there is no reason to be jealous and I wanted to be DONE with this entire thing BUT NOPE.

Well four days out of work before finding two jobs. Started one today and it was pretty cozy.

Today, I had a strange realization.
I love my hair and I pay more attention to it than I could've admitted a few months ago. I just… found the bestest style that fits me, and I love looking at mirror and play with it. Believe me, it's almost unnatural in my case, hahaha~ I feel so weird. Then again, why should I, I'm a girl, that's like the most common thing, isn't it?
Also, to my biggest surprise, people like it too. My hair I mean. They're complementing me for it. I'm so glad I decided to leave it grow 3 years ago and I'm glad I cut half of it last week.
That said, I'm completely unfamiliar with most beauty products and all that stuff...

Is it okay (so not unhealthy) to wash my hair twice a week and use mousse on it? My hair is still relatively long (around shoulder length) and by the end of the week it's sort of a mess.
If twice a week hairwash is unnecessary/bad is it okay to just use water without any kind of shampoo and then apply the mousse?
As far as I can tell, my hair isn't greasy or anything like that, so the only reason I ask this because I want to keep my "Monday" hairstyle till Friday.

I've been one sleepy ass bitch, seriously.
Last week was spent with late nights (technically early mornings seeming at how it was 12am/1am/2am before I went to bed to read and draw then sleep) and then back to college this week... couldn't sleep Sunday or Monday at all an was woken up at 5:30am Tuesday, so was absolutely exhausted and kept yawning (was a long day also) and then I ended up waking up at 6:30am this morning and was sleepy and am sleepy though fortunately it was a much shorter day.

Twice a week is perfectly okay, kudos to your hear if it can last a week 
I usually wash mine 2/3 times a week and it's fine.
However, using water without shampoo isn't a very good idea, it'll make your hair greasy. And check your mousse bottle, maybe it can be used on dry hair.

you and me both…but I guess they stick with one protocol with every warrant they have out on someone. The truth is, they don't even know what the warrant is out for at the time of an arrest, they just know they need to pick this person up...
It's screwed up, but they are playing it safe...especially since the municipal building I had to go to for court was just the scene of a shooting late in December, so I can understand why they have strict protocols...if anything, this was a good lesson to never forget your tickets!

It's been a good week for me at least, had half days monday/tuesday because I had 8 hours of personal leave that my work wanted me to get rid of, as they didn't roll over. (This doesn't include about the month worth of time that does in fact roll over). I also found out I get an extra paycheck this month, so one piece figures GALORE. Girlfriend will be leaving for a wedding for 3 weeks in march, which kind of sucks. But hey, the new fire emblem is coming out soon :D. Something to distract me from loneliness for awhile.

Got an interesting but unexpected call from some old high school friends. Well…..these people I wouldn't call "close", but I had good times with them, so....
I of course had to explain all the stuff that's going on with me....how it wasn't what I had planned.....they sounded surprised, but they told me to not give up. Said I'm really smart and worthy to be in college.....really was surprising, but perked me up.
(short version of my situation: I couldn't afford college back in the fall, and am almost about to head down the same venue with another school....)

I'm just glad you asked that, cause people keep telling me I'm gross because I only wash my hair twice a week. Apparently it's normal to shower everyday and wash your hair in the process.
Obviously those people have never met hair like mine, or else they wouldn't react this way (YOU sit down and straighten your hair for an hour every time you wash it, THEN we'll talk).
Today I went to the movies to watch "The impossible"..mental note: Do NOT go to Asia on christmas eve.
I found the movie extremely worrying…thanks god we don´t have this in Brazil...I´m safe.

My specializing studies in editing have finally begun and my inner editing nerd is ecstatic~ For the past few days I've been learning to use Avid Media Composer. It's always a weird feeling when you start to use a completely unfamiliar computer program from scratch… All those buttons and functions and menus! Aahh! Luckily all editing software seem to share the same basics, so it's not absurdly difficult. Making the jump from Final Cut Pro is pretty wicked.

I can have one day without showering in between and put my hair up in a pony tail or something, but it's still fairly obvious that my hair is greasy. '^^ Sometimes I wish I wouldn't have to shower every day, though. I do it in the morning and it stretches my routine considerably - which makes me get up two hours before school starts. (And I live only ten minutes away.)
I'm someone who washes their hair either everyday or every other day. My hair is pretty easy to manage tho, and it never really suffers during humid or dry days. (Which is lucky for me since it's so long!) I usually keep my hair in a ponytail at night because it smooths down all the little hairs that stick up on the top of my head, plus it makes my hair easier to brush since there are less tangles when I wake up. It also feels really silky for some reason. Other than that tho, it usually only takes me like 5-10 minutes to brush it before I go out somewhere.
I have a feeling that my hair would be a lot more wavy/curly if it were shorter, since it is two feet long and pretty heavy… but I prefer how wavy it is now. haha

I do wash my hair every day, because it's super-greasy otherwise. But it's long and thick, so I don't bother drying or doing anything else with it after washing. (When I go to the salon, it takes more than 30 minutes for them to dry my hair.) Besides, if I let it dry normally it curls at the ends in a gently wavy way that I kind of like, so yeah.
I have a neat trick for people with greasy hair who need to go out quickly and can't be bothered to wash it: baby powder! It's legitimately awesome. Just pat some onto the more obviously greasy areas and keep patting till you can't see it anymore. It makes your hair look soft and greasyshine-free~
It's the same with my hair, only it's much much shorter than yours. Which reminds me I need to get it cut. I will, however, pass on the baby powder.

A good internet friend of mine who I've known now for 10years and met a few times in person has delivered her baby tonight at 3:02. 9Days too early but it seems everything went fine. My understanding is that you can't drink alcohol out in public eye outside of your home or a bar. It makes it so cops don't see what you're drinking and they mostly ignore it as long as you aren't acting belligerent
Or you could do like I've some people do and put some vodka into a disposable plastic water bottle.

Those people should meet me because up to this point I used to wash my hair only once a week. Once every 1.5 week (only in Summer though).
I think I thought up the best routine. Wednesday and Sunday! Weee~
Also, I think I'll go to the hairdresser again in March sometime, because I finally realized the best haircut for me. Something I don't have to bug with every morning~ Poor hairdresser, I really make her sad that she has to cut my hair.
