[/hide]The sub was fucking delicious.
We also spent the rest of our time in Good Will(since the old lady we were with wanted to go there)
Me and my sis were in the book section looking for dumb titles and covers to laugh at… like we were browsing a Tumblr dashboard like a couple of immature brats.
I also shopped around with mom and sis to help them pick out clothes. It was oddly fun.
Then during the ride home, I trolled my sis by ranting about bad/boring typography seen on 99% of businesses like I was serious about it.
(or maybe it's me self loathing the fact that I wasted 2 years in Graphics Design)
(nah... making fun of bad design is actually the best thing about Graphics)I think intellectuals or people seeking meaningful interactions 100% of the time would hate the shit out of me now.
@Print:
I see the running theme here.

If it helps, it turns out the recruitment agency we visited was really the Coast Guard.

So my mom came home completley slashed, but she….
wait a minute
knocks on every wooden surface in Central Europe
.......she seems to be calm.
Thank god too, the stories I could tell about her not being calm when drunk would probably be a bit too depressing for you lot ;D

Berserk really must have fried my brain back in the day.

Same here, except when Monogatari's on…

Another boring day, time to go out and hang out in the supermarket.
-
I am getting really excited about having a new desk in my room that means I'm no longer doing all my work off our flat's dining room table. It even has that vaguely piney smell of new furniture. I've brought out the scented candles to mark this occasion.
…I suspect that if I had a lot more money than I currently earn, I'd go on periodic Ikea binges. Not sure what that says about me >_> -
Today I bought a coconut. I plan on scooping out its innards and drinking its precious life juices until it is nothing more than a mere husk. Damn coconuts.

That's the way to do it. Eat all the bad away.

Today was pretty ordinary. Tomorrow, however, I get to go watch the first round of the PGA Championship. Really excited for that.

I am full of pain and sorrow

So my local convenience store still has a fan to cool their chocolate. I was going to say something but it was a new cashier there and I was bothering her with question she didn't know the answer to, so she had to call the boss. Also there was a line forming behind me…
But now I feel I should have said something 'cause it's really bothering me. O,OCan you explain more? I want to understand this. Sounds like some sort of magical chocolate complexity.

WWWWWWHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYyyyyyyyyyyyy. Who shall I murder for you?

Chocolate doesn't have to be refrigerated unless it has been refrigerated before. It can stay at room temperature for weeks without melting. But maybe you guys meant something else :P
@Femme nobody I am just full of pain and sorrow
(I'll send you their names and addresses through pigeon carrier)

<3 There's a book I like to read when I'm sad, it's fittingly called "Don't be Sad" by Aaidh al-Qarni. It had an inspirational quote in there that I really wanted to share with you, but I scoured the book and couldn't find it, so I'll basically sum up the message I was trying to impart with these two verses from the Quran which I try to remember often:
So, verily, with every difficulty, there is relief:
Verily, with every difficulty there is relief.
[Quran 94:5-6] -
Thanks Femme, you really are a sweetheart~
To be honest I just watched two really agonising episodes of Buffy and Angel consecutively
But you have definitely cheered up my day <3

Hahaha, if there's one thing a trip to Paris does to you, it's that the French greetings come very naturally forever after.
A family friend just walked into the library while I was arranging some books on the novelty rack and greeted me in French. I replied instantly before turning around and only then realizing whom I was talking to. It made me laugh. Suddenly, taking more lessons in French doesn't sound like such a strange idea after all.
-
I ended up crying during a re-read of part of a story, but here's a interesting thing.
A roach caught me my surprise when I went for something to drink in the kitchen.
I don't know what came over me, but I had to urge punch it to death. So I did with one punch. Aside from that one kid in middle school, I never punched an insect in my life before.
(I actually pounded it, but punch sounds more natural)

I hope Nia does not see that.

I caught myself trying to remember the English word for 'Untertitel' last night (it's subtitle(s)). English is my native language, and I live in the UK,so this was a bit odd. Apparently I can still very easily slip into thinking in half-English half-German even four years after last working in Germany.

Hiroy, King Punch.
I hate killing insects unless they're actively going to cause me harm. Killed a moth the other night that was fluttering at my face while I was trying to sleep, and then felt really guilty over it when I woke up a bit more and realised what I'd done. I might be a bit stricter with roaches though because they're so big…thankfully, we don't get many at all over here.
-
It's pretty unpleasant when a large moth somehow manages to fly into your fan and get shredded all over you O.O
Why don't they just gooo awayyyyyyyyyy
-
I got my roommate assignment today. So I stalked him online. He looks a lot like a guy I have a crush on and shares my first name. Everything about this is already awful.
Also killing bugs is so mean. Like pick on animals your own size~
-
Don't hit on your roommate. That road only leads to drama
-
I have to admit, I don't like killing bugs either. Not even spiders. I feel really guilty about it.
I'm too empathetic for my own good…
-
The only insects I can kill without feeling guilty afterwards are mosquitoes. They are just pure evil, and no use for anybody. Even birds refuse to eat them.
But killing anything else? Instant guilty conscience and pangs of self-hate. Once I almost started crying after I discovered I had stepped on an ant and killed it on my way home. I can't even touch wasps, as much as I hate them and fear them because they could potentially kill me (possible allergy, never tested). It's just too cruel.
-
Oh yeah, I'm back from my trip now. Have been for a week, but I got hit with a nasty fever when I came back, so I've been incapacitated for some time.
The trip was amazing, and the guy was even more so. Safe to say that he's a proper boyfriend now. I was super anxious and nervous, since just having talked to someone online might not warrant taking a trip over to the US, but he was so worth it. We're already planning on me moving over there, though that's probably extremely costly what with getting a work VISA and everything, and very time consuming.
-
I swear I'm imagining a scene with one of ya'll picking up a roach and setting it free like those symbolically sap setups where someone frees a bird and watches while smiling.
But no seriously. Roaches make me feel nothing. Unlike spiders and geckos, they don't really do much to deserve being an honored guest.Aside that, I do love bugs. I use to collect them in jars as a kid.

(Yeah, I like spiders in my home. They actually help get rid of the more problematic insects too.)

If you made that, then you are an artist.

-
Have you been in the Sharknado thread?
Vaguely but only because I was derping so hard at the name.
And I know what you're talking about I opened that and quickly closed it before it could go any further. -
I always catch the insects and release them out the window

Ohh, which ones? I am currently rewatching both shows :) No one can do pain and sorrow better than Joss Whedon.
Hmm, it seems everyone here is really conflicted about killing bugs. :ninja:That….makes me feel like a horrible, horrible person, because I killed a huuuuuuuuuuuge, Idon
tknowwhatthehellthatthingwas bug-mutant creature yesterday. Seriously, I was changing the lightbulbs in the little space between my two rooms, because it was about time, and when I was done, and everything was all bright, I saw it! This....monster, crawling on the wall. I first thought it was a spider, because it was so big and fat like some spiders are.....but then I saw it
s legs, and I knew in that moment, that was no spider!! That was no ordinary bug. It had these huge weird grasshopper-like legs, but it wasnt a grasshopper either. It
s whole body was as black as it`s rotten soul, the devil in bug form, I knew it!!So.....I smashed it. But I didn
t mean to:sad:I tried to catch it in a box, so I could set it free outside. But it was a little quicker and smarter than I gave it credit for. It hopped on the outside of the boy I was holding and was crawling towards my hand! Now, you know, I don
t like insects. I dont like anything that is small and moves fast and tries to crawl up my legs or something. Bugs = creepy. And this was the creepiest, ugliest thing I ever saw, and it was trying to....to...crawl on my body! I kinda panicked and threw the box on the the ground in utter horror and well, when I removed the box, it was smashed pretty good. Uhm......don
t judge me :ninja: -
Angel S2 finale and Buffy S5 finale… I just started on Buffy S6. :(
