Just got it. You get Fly from the Professor in the city of the 4th gym.
Made good process today.
My main team is almost completely Lv40 and my rotation team is about Lv30+.
Sylveon will be my main fairy. It's just awesome and if you pet, feed and play with an Eevee for some time to get the requirements for its evolution you somehow bond with it.
Main team: Chesnaught, Sylveon, Talonflame, Pangoro, Duoblade, Helioptile
Rotation team: Floette, Gogoat, Charizard, Malamar, Tyrunt, Binacle, Blaziken, Meowstic

You see it doesn't surprise me honestly when you see Transformers, Iron Giant, and Gigantor flying giants aren't that farfetch'd (pun intended) but a flying T Rex is a little different.

Just soloed the champion with my Aegislash. Throughout the champion + elite 4 I only used 4 pokemon out of the 6 in my party, mostly just Aegislash, and I only used 2 full restores, 2 max revives, 3 ethers, and 2 sitrus berries, all on Aegislash. Actually, I think through a bit of amie boosted dodges my Aegislash took like one hit the whole champion battle, and that hit was from a king's shield weakened hawlucha and did like 2 damage lol

Isn't that how it always goes? I don't see a Pikachu at all when I go through that forest I go back and get one (and name it Dirk Shockly) and then every other encounter is a Pikachu.

Still, I did win and I spend the rest of my time SP my Torchic and sitting in Friend Safari. Anyone wants to add me? I do have some Pupitars, Heracross, Wartortles, Ivysaurs etc. I especially like that you can meet Pokemon with different abilities there, so I was hunting for a Heracross with Moxie for some time.

It has 150 base stats in both defenses in shield form. In attack form it has 150 in both attack stats instead. It gains king's shield which you can get from the move relearner. this move functions as protect, with the added bonus of lowering the enemies attack 2 stages if they used a direct contact move (like most physical moves with a few exceptions, earthquake probably being the most major in this case). It starts in shield form, switches when you first use an attacking move right before the attack is used (so if you go second they'll hit shield form, Aegislash will transform into blade form and THEN attack the opponent with blade form stats. It switches back into shield form if you use king's shield (from what I've heard, no other move works). It does have lower defense than an eviolite doublade even in shield form, but I'd say king's shield and the much improved attack and special defense make up for it. If you want I can demonstrate this in a battle as soon as I add your friend code

Normal rules do allow a full team you know. I'm glad they were added since they're exactly what I was looking for. I have a feeling if the set to perfect ivs thing exists, it's handicap on. I'll need to check if anyone's willing to help
Yeah, I know I could use my full team, but since I'm training my 'mons in the middle of the forest I'm not exactly at my strongest. Still - a good fight, seems like Aegislash will be a very common Pokemon in wi-fi battles with his Protect that also lowers Attack.
Doublade eviolite is pretty sturdy to take an attack from Aegislash at super effective and only get down to half health. Still, since it relies on contact attacks it really is a bad matchup against aegislash without good predicting skills

Nope, that's how I play too. If I'm not gonna use it and it's not special in some way, I don't catch it (at least not until post-game).

seems friends being online just means friend safari pokemon will have hidden abilities. ALso, seems you'll only find three pokemon in a friends area if they beat the elite four and champion
