Just beat the 4th gym and liberated the power plant.

lvl 35 Krokorok (Sand Attack, Crunch, Sand Tomb, Assurance)
lvl 39 Pikachu (Nuzzle, Thunderbolt, Slam, Electro Ball)
lvl 40 Chesnaught (Spiky Shield, Bite, Seed Bomb, Rollout)
lvl 40 Pangoro (Work Up, Karate Chop, Body Slam, Circle Throw)
lvl 41 Blastoise (Rapid Spin, Aqua Tail, Surf, Bite)
lvl 48 Blaziken (Hone Claws, Aerial Ace, Blaze Kick, Slash)

Pangoro is a fucking monster.
My faith in his badass physical appearance has been well rewarded. Dude's a powerhouse, easily soloing most of team flare for me.
Then again, i'm abusing the shit out of the exp share, and loving every moment of it.

For me, part of the joy of pokemon is totally crushing the NPCs with your superior might. Fuck the level curve.

And yet, my favorite so far, hands down is Spritzee. I don't get it, I thought I'd be using it at the risk of it being weak and hard to train, but currently it's my strongest and almost nothing can even touch it. Love that thing.

Yeah, I'm pleasantly surprised by how actually great he is in battle. Dude is immortal and strong to boot, with access to a good variety of moves. So far, he's only really come up short against dragons and a couple type combos, which might not be a problem, depending on the TMs he can use that I haven't gotten yet. I'm planning on giving at least on of them a toxic/leech seed/protect/synthesis combo, though, to take out serious threats. Ever since evolving all of the, though, I've had maybe one die ever. I haven't even sorted out which hold items to give them, yet.

! Boring Victory Road, especially considering the one in Black2/White 2 was so good. Music was kickass though. Hated that you had to use HM moves to get through.
! E4 and Champ were incredibly easy, but to be fair though I was way overleveled. Might try to take them on with a less experienced team down the line.
! Wow, the people/region actually recognize you as Champion and throw you a parade. Didn't expect that, it was great!
The scene(s) with AZ were kinda cheesy, but alright …. wait, how is he even still alive? Eh, details.
! Overall, great, great game. Onto to the post game stuff!

In other news, beat the third gym and am about to get Skrelp. That would complete my team of six with Amaura as a rotation seventh.
Also, wtf … I love how Helioptile and Gogoat can both surf. Surf across the oceans with my water starter? Hell naw, I want to ride an electric lizard and a badass goat.

Yeah, thats what I did with my Heliolisk. Surfing around with my awesome sun lizard. Also came in quite handy considering I didn't have any water Pokemon in my team lol.

I wonder traded a whole messload last night. Got a Clauncher (version exclusive I don't have, yaye!) some goopy dragon thing that's ridiculously adorable, and a Noibat which I've been reeeeeally wanting… though its name is in Japanese and obviously I can't change it.

Does anyone know when the damn panda learns Parting Shot? That move was announced with his reveal and sounder really cool, and I've been holding off on evolving him for it... usually signature moves come way sooner than level 33.

Don't remember the specific level (I guess it was somewhat in the early/mid 40s), but my panda was already evolved at that point. Maybe he doesn't learn it in his unevolved form?
And yeah, it's a nice move. Incredibly useful.

EDIT: Just checked, it's Lv. 48 in it's evolved form.

Okay, whew. Means it's unevolved form probably gets it late 30's, early 40's. (usually a 6-15 level difference between evolutions for a move… especially if you hold off on an evolution for a long time.) I'll hold out a little longer since I'm at 33 now and that was the main move about him that interested me... just generally signatures show up much sooner. I was worried it was a super early level move or something that head to be learned at the move tutor or something. I love U-turn and Volt Switch, so thats right up my alley and will probably make him for me.

I guess they assume you won't figure out the "level with a dark member in your team" trick right off the bat... and by all rights you shouldn't.

I now have half a box of Panchams and half a box of Abras. The Panchams are all Iron Fist, with varied natures and no special egg moves (basically just amateur breeding). Still, if anyone wants one.

I'm not sure if Autotomize is a good move for Honedge. It has a nature that +Special Defense and -speed, which may make autotomize more or less useful. Are there any moves as far as people know that Honedge/Doublade/Aegislash learn later that might benefit from an increased speed and halved weight?

Unless gamefreak comes out and says otherwise, I'm just assuming the shiny rate is still exactly the same. This happens EVERY time a new game comes out. 3 million people start playing the game at the same time, and suddenly the 1 in 8000 chance of getting a shiny becomes pretty decent odds, and of course those people report it immediately so you hear about 5 different people getting a shiny immediately and think "it's more common now!" when…. it really isn't.

There's no way to prove that without hacks or extensive tests, therefore it's probably just a rumor.

Got very lucky, traded my polar Vivillion for one of another country and that Vivillon was infected by Pokerus. Result, all of the pokemon I plan to use later are infected with it as well, resulting in a team that strengthen very fast.

Also, I already have Blaziken, Venusaur, Lucario, Gengar, Abomasnow and Aerodactyl that can Mega-evolve, and a female Alakazam and a male Gardevoir ready for when I find their stones…

Smash a lot of rocks in the fossil cave to find an Old Amber (you can exit and re-enter the deepest part of the cave to respawn the rocks). Then a person in the fossil lab will give you the mega stone.

We've seen Scizor, Gyarados and Gardevoir, but Chandelure/Torkoal and Druddigon/Altaria haven't had pictures shown yet. To anyone who has defeated the E4 already, what megas were there?

Somebody Frisked the Elite Four on their first playthrough, and none of them had Mega Stones. But they most likely have Megas during a rematch, because they have Scizor and Gyarados.

I haven't seen anyone find out how to rematch the elite 4 with any changes from the first time you fight them so far.

On another note: No shame on using that Master Ball to catch Mewtwo. No shame.
