Had the same kind of experience as a above when I started off with a Larvesta the RS remake. Training that thing was an experience like no other.

Yeah Noibat is great but its the weakest Dragon type ingame, I did the same thing in ORAS as Robby, breed a Noibat and used it as my dragon, it evolves late and its super squishy but once it evolves to Noivern its worth it, we have the EXP share thing so it gets EXP anyway even if its weaker than other.
Goomy classification is the weakest dragon type but stat wise Noibat is.

Hi guys! Long time no see! I jumped on the game this past couple of weeks for shits and giggles and starting amassing shinies again. Whoops.. GTS ftw.
SO I have 1 shiny male Umbreon, 1 shiny Manaphy (for another shiny legend), 2 shiny Greninjas (the exact same Pokemon, name and stats and all, so def cloned) and 5, yes 5 shiny Eevees 3 of which are male and two female ones (the female ones def cloned too with the same trainer and stats). -
So this thread is kind of old but I recently got myself a 3DS and I have been playing Pokémon X for the first time. I just beat the champ and was wondering if people would want to exchange FCs so I can go Safari Zone hunting :3
I know there's a spreadsheet in the first post but I don't know if I should just add people…so here I am at your service if anyone's interested. Oh, and it would be fantastic if someone could tell me what my own friend zone has to offer.

And now I broke a Ditto chain of 60 by being oh so stupid.
I wanted to begin catching them so of course I put my low-level Magicarp first so the Dittos would transform into it. Then my repel stopped working…
At least it wasn't too hard getting there. It just takes some time.
! Nope, it is pretty hard to get to 60. It took me five attempts to get there again, at least three times I was in the 40s. Only saw a shiny Ditto once, though way earlier. Anyway, I managed to catch seven Dittos with 3 perfect IVs and one with 4 before breaking the chain. But I kind of wanted at least 10 so…I think I'll get right back to it. At least now I know that I've already succeeded...–-

! I eventually (very, very eventually) managed to get to 60 Dittos once more. I now have 21 with 3 perfect IVs and one with 4. One of those is shiny as well. I have several duplicates that might be good for trading, we'll see. Next, I'll probably try my hand at some more difficult chaining for more shinys. Eevee, maybe. Talk to you later~–-! Dear Diary,
! chaining Eevees is hard…But I'd really like a shiny Umbreon. In other news, my Kalos Pokedex is almost complete, I'm only missing three more entries. I'm sure I'll get lucky on the GTS eventually.

! I finally did it! I found a shiny Eevee and I caught it with a matching Premier Ball \o/ It has perfect SpAtt and Speed IVs. Which is just perfect for Umbreon…except...not. But that's irrelevant. I'll hold on to the white fluffy one for a while though, I think.
! I also got some more Dittos to distract myself when I failed at chaining Eevees.

! I have started to breed some sort of competitive team for the first time. But I'm not really sure what to go for. I knew I wanted Mega Venusaur, Umbreon and Starmy but I have no idea what would complement them. I was about to breed for a good Heracross when I realized that the one I had traded for was already perfect…so that's on the team. I also have a Tyranitar ready (well, a Larvitar right now) but that doesn't really work with Venusaur's Synthesis and I already have a a Dark type in Umbreon. But...I guess I'll see how it works. The 6th slot is still open. I recently got a Protean Froakie via Wonder Trade but again, I have those types already. What I may need is a Fairy type and Klefki looks very interesting there.

I just encountered an actual random shiny in the wilds. As part of a horde but still. The funny thing about it is that I was EV training and didn't actually want to fight these guys. At least not while Bulbasaur was conscious to witness it. So I had to stall for about 30 turns until they finally managed to KO him. And now I have caught a shiny Scraggy. \o/
Alright. So I now have 6 battle-ready pokemon. They're probably not forming any kind of coherent team but whatever. So the logical next step is of course to buy Alpha Sapphire. Cause I want to complete my National Dex and this seems like the easiest way. Hm, what, competitive battling? Oh no, I'm just training pokemon.
I guess I could post in the ORAS thread then instead of here. But it's my cozy, secret place...
