- So it seems the failure of the Vegapunk fruit isn't that you can't turn back to normal.
Momonosuke just turned back to normal… Even if I don't understand why he is suddenly able to do so while saying ebfore, he has no clue how
- Sanji is shouting that it is a Newkama recipe he gained... All the time he never talked to anyone that he was at Okama island but now he is shouting it out loud... Where is the Zoro mocking?

Yeah I didn't understand a lot of this chapter especially the start with all the murderer sh*t. But I guess I have no right to complain and can just wait for better translations. It was a decent wrap up chapter and it was obvious it would be full of happy endings with the kids and the samurai and the G5 people affected by the gas. So was it Kaidou that Law agreed to defeat with Luffy? But then Luffy wants to defeat them all. Dunno why he'd fight Shanks and since he's a swordsman seems like it would be Zoro's job.

The translator's Japanese isn't good enough. The actual Japanese is "hitori me wa Shanks janakya maa ii ka" where "janakya" is often a short of "janakya dame/ikenai" which is translated as "must". But it isn't the case right now, basically "janakya" is just "janakereba" which is "if it's not". And my Japanese isn't very good.

Aside from the Chopper problem a decent Chapter. Enjoyed the parts with Kinemon and Nami and Usopp's conversation.
Robin dressed up a bear. adorable. (if not a little creepy)
Also from that Law seems to tell Luffy it's Kaido. But the 'I wonder who is being used' and the part about Shanks makes me think it's something else.

Going after Kaidou while Big Mom is pissed off at the SHs by kidnapping someone thereby pissing off Doflamingo… Yeah New World is some crazy shit right now. And that's without factoring in mystery napping guy, the brokers, and the Kid-Hawkins-Apoo alliance, Drake's post-time skip activity (and possibly the cover story since it's one of Kaidou's islands; fastest cover story to pop back into main story relevance?). Loved where Law tells Luffy to tell everyone to get a move on and Luffy tells them it's party time.

ah the… the clothing.... :blink: yeah yeah of all thoings to get hung up on …go figure I'm a bit surprised at Robin wearing a coat whose hoodie is a big lion face. Its cute…but I thought she doesn't like looking silly.
Then Usopp's hat... its inflated. As mush I wasn't crazy over the floppiness it had before, its better than this sudden inflation. I hope its just because there's a warmer hat under it!

- Yay Strawhat stuff!
- Chopper worrying about the kids/yelling at Law
- Nami reminiscing about her mom was a really nice touch.
- liked how the kids were all sad they weren't going to be with the Strawhats anymore.
- And finally one of the 99 Vital recipes are revealed.
- We are definitely getting backstory for Kinemon/Momo really soon. And with Doflamingo coming, maybe that'll shed some light
- Then again, the crew is having the obligatory after feast celebration, and for the most part bad stuff doesn't happen until the next arc, but Joker/mystery person arriving could just signal a new arc in and of itself.
- And Law once again horrified by the crew's antics/party time.
- And Franky has bear hair!
- CC reveals the not lethal gas is not lethal to Marine G5, so that's that.
- CC with pliers hanging off his face was a cute detail, along with him wondering why Smoker's not dead.
- And Law/Smoker just hanging out in the background of the party, and staying on their side of the lines too. Another nice little detail.
- And it's Kaidou. With this, I'm kinda hoping for a Kidd Alliance and their adventures with Big Mom be the next Cover Story. That'd be interesting to have such an important event be cover story material. But going after Kaidou does throw a huge wrench into Big Mom's Tea Party predictions made at the end of Fishman Island arc.
- That said, I'm going to go out on a limb and hoping Big Mom isn't that bad of an individual. She's no saint, but she hasn't done anything inhumane on screen just yet (Luffy even said it himself that he'd destroy an island over meat). But this is getting ahead of myself and out of the chapter.

the part where 'broken to pieces' Kinemon suddenly became normal is bit let down…i thought there would be more drama.... instead of just 'shell' breaking and Kinemon coming out......

Nami had a pretty sweet scene though, and Tashigi was adorable. I love characters who love kids.

Ah … the finally long awaited party scene (this arc already reach 41 chapter). next stop.. arrival of the shadow guy (which could be aokiji..though Oda is known to pull another duval surprise).
It will be badass if aokiji intercepts doflamingo.And of course we will find out some new world info post timeskip.

Damn I seriously have to wait for a better translationAgreed on waiting for better translation. At Mangahere, Sanji isn't shouting "newkama", its "newcomer kenpo". Lilkely a really bad translation, I do think it should be newkama.
But would Zoro know that "Newkama" was about Okama? Back when the SHs met Bon-chan he was calling himself 'okama' and used "Okama Kenpo". It was Iva-chan that used "Newkama Kenpo" and Zoro never met him.Sure Zoro knew of Luffy's allies duringt he war but that doesnt' mean he knows the names of those allies' fighting styles

I laughed when I saw Luffys serious facing with Law about leaving, but instead he shouts 'LETS PARTY!' lol love how Ceaser wonders why Smoker is still alive even though he thought he stabbed him, nice little detail, and the usual party scenes are awesome as usual!
Who knows, maybe everyone will be gone by the time Flamingo and the mysterious guy arrive, and they meet each other instead, and have a lil convo (depending on who the guy is) it could be interesting intel.

I don't think they'll go after Shanks, at some point though they will fight I think but not till the end of the series.
Wonder which arc will be up next? Clearly Dof is first, than who? We all though it'd be Big Mom, now Luffy's taking them all on.
HA Law, sooner or later hes going to have to understand the way Luffy thinks is way different how every one else thinks but the team up will be worth it in the end.
Good Chapter, lots of foreshadowing of up coming arcs, really excited about.
Chopper is not going to like some of Law's ways though, hes already having trouble with it, why do I have a feeling all of them will as each arc goes by? Even Luffy?? That'd be an intresting situation actually if that happened.
Wonder if Smoker will stick around and play a big part in the Dof arc, the guy I think will send some of his best men after Luffy/Law/Smoker soon enough.Can't wait for the next chapter, we will be entering a new arc. Wonder if Law will be apart of that too or leave cuz the Strawhats don't work the way he thinks they should? IF he breaks off the team up, they'll be rivals again and Law will have a harder time with his ideas.
