Yes they were, including the strong world DLCs when that movie wasn't even westernized yet so we will get all the DLCs for this game also.
And has anyone notice from the Streaming how weird Brook has been acting in this game lol first the intro, then I caught him teleporting in the first battle maybe a glitch but that caught me off guard and when he turned evil his "YOHOHOHO!" turned to a "yohohoho…...." Something about brook makes me wanna play this game more lol -

Probably not. While Gundam had DLC characters, usually they don't go that route, sticking with just costumes instead. Since most of the musou franchises get periodic updates as entirely new games that include a couple new characters as their main selling point, they tend to stick with that.
OP is a franchise they're going to release annually for a while, they're going to want to hold new characters to hype full releases more than a little bit of DLC.

From what I saw in the gameplay the third musou bar isn't a third special attack, it's just an extra bar.

i believe is that if you pick a character with that icon, you might unlock a special cutscene like kuzan confronting sakasuki and brook fighting mihawk.

In those roster shots, the square button is "Berry Advancement" so I'm guessing that you use your berries that you earn to buy upgrades, hence the high-level characters.

update on the Berry function: you can use it to buy certain costumes (not the DW crossovers, I'm assuming) such as Aokiji's admiral coat, Buggy's prisoner garb, etc.

Even though it's been paid for, I'm still going to have to wait 1-3 days for the EMS express delivery. I'm really excited about the game and will be posting stuff as soon as I can both on YouTube and here on good old arlong park.
So if all goes well it'll be dispatched on Wednesday morning and be here in Auckland on Friday afternoon

I plan on getting plat.
I paid for mine from amiami today. I had changed it to EMS early last week. Then realised that I'm not THAT excited to pay the extra for it. So back to SAL.
Gonna try to avoid spoilers but can people answer me these questions:
1.) Are all of Chopper's forms in the game?
2.) Are there any new bosses aside from the ones who are playable
3.) What alt outfits are there for Robin, Chopper and Nami this time (not the DLC.)
4.) Can you transfer the Kimonos etc from PW1 into PW2 for the pre-SHs?
5.) From the start who is unlocked? And if it's only Luffy how long into the game before you have the crew?
