Maaan, the cleaning of this week's mangapanda scans were abysmal. bad translations I can take but the cleaning made the art look as bad as a Naruto chapter. Good thing the Mangastream version is out.

Loved the chapter. Sad Monet seems doomed to die though, Shes a really interesting character with a lot of potential to be part of a bigger storyline.

It's kinda interesting down-to-earth take on Doflamingo.
The way Vergo address Dofla like a friend, the way Dofla reacts with extreme violence to shield Baby 5, and the way he speaks to Monet all points him to be a crew-loving pirate instead of a cold-hearted businessman.

He's waaaaay more frightening a villain than Hodi, yet he treats his close-subordinates like nakama, unlike the said fishman.
If Hodi's character was a 1, Dofla is a 10. Dude is so much more interesting.

i would not say as nakama,because he is willing to sacrifice them if it's what is needed to get the job done.

i think that probably his subordinates are just the only people he has a relationship with (he doesn't seem someone with lots of friends),and so he's willing to have good time with them,and treat them well and with respect,as long as that doesn't interfere with his plans

I think the relationship might be more one-sided than Doflamingo's dialogue lets on… One of his defining characteristics is "manipulation", so the idea of feigning sympathy, respect, friendship, etc. in order to maneuver his subordinates into doing what he wants is not so far fetched.

Much too early to tell, but I'm looking forward to exploring the dynamics of his organization.

Imo implies the colorspread that momo and kinemon will join the crew, at least for a short period of time because of all the people on punk hazard (brownbeard, the kids, the marines etc) they are the only ones present on it.

So my guess is that the marines take care of the kids while the sh+heart pirate alliance is headin to wano to bring momo and kinemon back home. The only question is, what happens with brownbeard.

i think that there was not enough space..and oda needed the franky shogun on-screen because its arms is what cover kaidou's face…probably both franky and jean bart in that posion would have been too small for that.

it's a shame though,it's an amazing cover,but it's incomplete as it is

That may well be true, although it would paint his entire crew in a negative, incompetent light if this was the case.
