So I, being the dumbass I am, removed my USB without safely removing it (I was in a rush).
Next time I came to use it, it asked me to format.
So when I got home I tried to recover the files by searching on google for solutions, and so far I've managed to recover some small text documents and the pictures… but I can't really recover the rest because the 'preview' is all jumbled and because it's turned into raw data I can't even decipher which is which @ A @
any chances of help? I kinda need these files for college... fortunately most of them were from last year, some from this year though I handed most in... though there's still stuff I need. I did have an emergency USB just in case but I forgot to backup the files from my main USB to that one < / 3

Unfortunately I've had a similar experience with my USB drive. I had one of the computer tech at my college look at it, sadly they said it couldn't be saved.

they'll probably go on at me about backing up files and how I'm a good example of an epic failure in that area...
fortunately I've recently handed in most of my assignments which were on there and the only real new thing on there was something I completed in like 45 minutes so I can easily redo it.
But it has my year 1 stuff... and some other lil things o ^ o
