They only posted four so far. Are we sure that's all the releases for the month? Looks like an incomplete list to me.
Funimation DVD Discussion III (Please Check First Post for FAQ)

Given funimations tendency to release new seasons every summer, Thriller Bark notwithstanding, and the number of projected voyages for season seven, I fully expect to see an every other month release for season seven making September the next most likely month for voyage 2.
-
So is that Fairy Tail(2014) the one with the redesigns
-
Anime Central is this weekend, right?
There's a good chance we might see some more news this weekend.

It's not One Piece related, but anime wise we already got some big news from Anime Central. Funimation picked up the rights to The Boy and the Beast.

Sweet.
It seems like Funimation is trying to get their hands on all these Hosoda movies. In that case, I can think of another one which hasn't been dubbed yet which they can get there hands on. In fact, its a movie to a series they're already dubbing…
-
Oh. That's swell. I didn't even realize Hosoda had his next film planned. I doubt anything One Piece related will come out of this weekend, but I'll cross my fingers anyways.
-
nationwide theaters in 2016? ugh, that means it won't come to bluray until .. Summer or even Fall 2016 (Wolf Children was released in Japan in July 2012, didn't hit bluray until November 2013)

How do you think I feel, I'm still waiting on the Steins Gate film and that was picked up by Funimation last August.
-
I feel like they're just a slow company who doesn't have their shit together. Need more serious deadlines or something differently. Maybe announce things a little closer to release date? I don't know. The company just feels too unofficial.
-
Yeah, their PR has gone way downhill since separating from Navarre.
-
I honestly think they have too much on their plate. They are after all (at this point, the biggest anime company in the US)
-
I personally feel that Funimation are taking on too many shows/movies, it seems like every week it is announced that they are dubbing something
-
Just dub all of One Piece so that it's caught up with the manga, all at once. I would just love to see the fight in the current arc.
-

Might be true they should grow their business to compensate. Get more directors and actors.

I'm still angry at them for not getting food wars, now it's a 50/50 chance on weather or not it'll get a dub or not

As we implied, they can't do everything.
And they probably judged how well that would do on Toriko's sales.
-
The premise is similar (a bit of a stretch actually) but the execution of them couldn't be any more different.
-
So did Toriko bomb because i personally couldnt make it past the first episode

Toriko is literally one of those series where you like it,or you dont, with very little middle ground. very unfortunate as i dont really hate it,its not like it does anything to objective or wrong, its just meh.
-
With FUNimation, yeah it bombed. They released 4 sets and dropped it. It's also bombed to a lesser extent in Japan, with it clearly not living up to the push Shonen Jump was giving it for a few years.
-
Toriko is one of those that takes time to get into. I liked it, but then, I love cooking, too. Especially candy making.

I'm hoping that's not the case. The manga has gradually improved after the time skip. I'd wish a Company like Madhouse or David Productions have'd the rights to the show and not Toei Animation. :(
Is the manga still being release in America? I can't seem to find the sales numbers that says otherwise. A damn shame to. JoJo's is getting an English dub by Warner Bros. of all people. Why can't the same goes for Toriko?
-
I'm pretty sure the manga is still doing well enough here. It's still on an every two month schedule.
I believe the Toriko anime bombed because it was a bastardized version of the series. Hopefully it's given another chance.

The anime was an abomination to humanity itself! Toei Animation better step up their A-Game when Dragon Ball Super comes out in July of this year. They really need to redeem themselves and sell the rights of Toriko to another anime Company like Madhouse or David Productions. The latter of which is making a Shonen Jump title the best love it can get. That's my two cents in the matter. lol
-
I'm going to hack funimation! LOL JK.

I wish I had money to buy the DVD's though? Amazon don't fail me now!

My gut tells me a trailer is coming for voyage 1 in the next two weeks
Oh yeah anyone heard about the new fairy tail 2014 dub.
They will be sold like crazy again.
And One Piece will stay in the dump again:sad: -

-
For the love of all that exists, can we please stop with all the fairy tail paranoia. There is zero reason to think that Fairy Tail will impact One Pieces's releases.

This.
Fairy Tail should not have any direct impact on the One Piece releases. Ultimately One Piece's own level of popularity and sales are more likely to determine things like release schedule and level of promotion.
But yes, since Fairy Tail is seemingly more popular than One Piece funimation might give more focus to it. But, in that regard, Fairy Tail will affect us no more than any of their other more popular releases will. And even then, I see no reason why we should assume the popularity of more popular series directly harms the One Piece dub as a whole. So people really need to stop acting like Fairy Tail in particular is a major cause of problems for One Piece.

Snake-Eyes2011 eat a snickers bar. You get a little paranoid when you're hungry? Better?
Yeah a bit better
But what midod said about the schedule is true.
It will be an issue ,but not much.I like both series ,still i hope the popularity will not effect one piece.
Altough i understand that Funimation will choose the most popu series too continue dub first.too close this subject (again) (sorry)
When do you guys expect the voyage 2 trailer to come out?
i think 3 weeks after the release of the first voyage. -

Any ideas on who's been cast as Law? My money's on Matthew Mercer.
-
I'm actually more curious as to how they're going to handle Law's "-ya."

I found the perfect voice actor for that job.

got to say, I am kinda looking forward to Michiko & Hatchin. Can't really say much about the other show.
-
Interesting new shows. But yeah, I'm looking forward more to MtH than AgK. The latter didn't even seem that interesting and supposedly wasn't even adapted from the manga well (from what I've heard). I think something like Needless would've been more fun to have on toonami. It's just balls-to-the-wall fun and over the top action that doesn't take itself seriously, even if you consider its "read the manga" ending. But that's just me.
-
Michiko and Hatchin is one of my favorite anime. It's really wonderful, and a good fit for Toonami. Great news! Everyone should definitely watch that!
-
News for Australians, One Piece Collection 32 (Season 7 Voyage 1) will be released in Aus in September. Good to see we only have to wait 2 months, it was painful waiting for the Enies Lobby sets which were 4-6 months after the US releases.
Also the final Thriller Bark set is released next week in Australia, TB was getting better with each dvd release so I'm expecting the final set to kick some butt!
EDIT: Madman have uploaded
! I was surprised, I don't think Madman often uploads the One Piece trailers. I tend to avoid trailers myself (being a dub only watcher) but thought everyone here would like to give it a watch! -
Didn't expect Madman to upload a trailer before Funimation, but at least there's something. Duval and Pappug's dub voices can be heard for a few seconds.
-
wow that is awesome. I am glad that we finally got a trailer for the new season. Also, I am liking duval's and pappug's voices so far. Kinda sad that we didn't hear any of the supernovas though.
-
Woo! I'm excited. Duval sounds pretty perfectly how I'd imagine him. And I had no idea what Pappug sounded like, so this is fine.
Their trailers are way better than funimation's. Though a little too heavy in plot spoilers to show my girlfriend.
-
Agreed. Madman put more effort and effects into this trailer. The last time Funimation has done that with a One Piece trailer was in Season 3.

I'm willing to bet based on the BGM that its probably a FUNI trailer that Madman just posted. Both Film Z and SW are Funi Trailers…

You guys don't think funimation made this trailer? The other trailers on Madman's site and youtube page seem to just be the funimation trailers. I just assumed this was funimation’s trailer and Madman got the jump on them.

If it is, then I stand corrected.
But it would be strange that Madman would have gotten the trailer somehow and uploaded it before FUNi did.
