First post in awhile here.
I enjoyed the past flashback in Naruto, even though most of the enjoyment was during when they were kids.
As far as Sasuke turning "good", I'm ok with it, for me this is a lot better than Sasuke being who he's been for the past 250 chapter or so. Plus I still think evil Sasuke is done just yet.
And I like the end of the recent chapter with the 4 Kages jumping on to the mountain head before they go off to battle.
Bleach…...is bleach.

So…why are people harping on the Bleach chapter? Interesting stuff happened. The only complaint I hear is about the pacing, but it was actually much better than Bleach usually is. This is what I mean when I say you guys are only looking for flaws.
Dude, we're not going to be running around naked and happy just because one Bleach chapter is better than usual. We're comparing Bleach to an average GOOD shonen series (or even any series with a plot), and we still see huge flaws, that's why no one here went bananas.
PS: I personally hated this chapter, probably because I'm re-reading Berserk now and just the actual difference in quality makes everything else look even worse.

@Aru: yeah I prefer to read my worst series first so I don't get an anticlimactic feeling so Berserk would always be one of the last I read. It's gonna take me getting used to not reading Naruto or Bleach. I managed it for 3 weeks the last time.

I didn't find it to be that interesting. The Maskaki being tainted by a Hollow creature plot point I find to be terrible since it's just piling more crap features on Ichigo. Yes it explains where that form came from during the Uriquilla fight but at this point. I could care less about Ichigo because he's draining off other aspects from characters that could be given panel time. And I don't find Ichigo to be likeable. He's hit Natsu level for me. Ichigo was supposed to be a very smart kid in the beginning, but I haven't seen him exercise his brain in forever. I don't feel he's really changed much in the last couple hundred chapters in any positive way.
As for the other stuff going on this chapter. It just wasn't very engaging. Stuff happened. Kind of. We knew that Uruhara Isshin and Ryuuken knew each other, this connects that. But It felt so blah.
I honestly couldn't find anything to praise about it. What did you find about this chapter to be praise worthy? (not being sarcastic).

Fullbringer arc is easily up there in the worst arc of manga history next to Shimon arc of hitman reborn.
The war has been entertaining though.
But trust me, Bleach isn't even close to being the worst, try reading some of those canned SJ titles like Pajama no Kanojo and SWOT.

Personally, I'd say Reborn's future arc was its worst one - at least the Shimon arc was over relatively quickly and didn't cram in years worth of filler, or throw in a bunch of concepts that were rendered completely meaningless within a few chapters (ex. "here are the real Six Funeral Wreaths", "everybody gets a motorcycle that we'll put an excessive amount of focus on, which gets destroyed five minutes into the competition").
Bleach:
I like the fact that this flashback isnt the "repeated history" formula that we have in many mangas. Many times we have the same love stroy in every generation…. and the parents, grandparents ect ect of the main characters are trying to do something and eventuraly the youngest generation is sucesful. We have some parallels since Masaki is a litle mix of Rukia and hime and, Ryukken is like some Renji&Byakuya mix as also Isshin is somehow like Rukia and idk someone.... All of them of course resomble their kids, but overall the story is fresh......
Did someone considered the possibility that Auntie's wound isnt an old injury? She said that its dangerous to be in the presence of somethink that thay dont understand…. maybe she was somehow infected when she touched Masaki? I myself dont think that its the case, but do you think that is possible?
One reason for why I dont think that its possible is the fact that when Ryuuken ran out of mansion Auntie didnt chase after him…. She is a pure blooded Quincy she should be able to stop him. It seems that she may be powerless and maybe this injury have something to do with it..... I've said erlier that its possible that before Souken became the nice old man he was actualy the most Quincy code obsessed person in the Isdida family..... maybe since she poweless Souken doesnt see her as a suitable partner and all and she is harsh for Masaki since she doesnt want Masaki and Ryuuken to have the same future as she and Souken.....
This chapter made Ryuuken into a jerk and a caring person at the same time…. He cares about masaki, but he was a jerk for Katagiri.... He knew that her duty is to protect the Ishida family and that she isnt his personal minion. Yet he put her into such a position and than he was angry at her for what she did even if her decision was much better than Ryuukens, since his decision would be a problem for everyone in the long run. The question hee is.... Why Ryuuken thought that Katagiri will keep his secret? Lets be hones, he should know that she works for the family and not for Ryuuken. He took her's loyalty for granted, that mean that he most likely knows that she have feelings for him and yet he used her... Of course this is the worst case scenarion since its possible that Ryuken dont knw about Katagiris feelings, but also he doesnt know tha he he have some feelings for katagiri because he must have some kind of really good relationship with her if he thought that she will take his side over the Isshida's side.... Well at the end of the day she tok everyones side sionce he decision was in the best interest of everyone.

Of course it doesn't taint Jojo, if anything it glorified Araki's greatness by improving Pokemon lol. Kubo and Kishimoto could NEVER do this, at least by former fans and anti-fans who will see KuboMoto art and forever associate it with the ultimately fatally flawed series Bleach and Naruto.

Maybe it's cause the last time I enjoyed Bleach was when I watched the Soul Society arc so I don't really have a reserve of old love for it anymore, but I had more fun reading stuff like Barrage and Takamagahara than the chapters of Bleach that were running at the same time. Yes, Takamagahara sucked. I still rate Bleach to be more boring during those issues of NA WSJ.
Current Jump is just bloody awful lol, the only ones that survived my list were One Piece, Toriko, Gintama and Hunter X Hunter. I will give credit to Assassination Classroom, which is good but wasn't quite my thing.

Never realized this before, but the trans really stood out this chapter as horrible. With one Piece, we're spoiled with good scans, but I wonder how many bad interpretations were caused by mangapanda for Bleach and Naruto.
Felt like a Bleach chapter. So little happened. But the art is pretty detailed though, even if the panels make it confusing to interpret what's going on. I also like the last two page spread with the tornadoes(hurricanes?) and lightning (on the sea or is that land? really can't tell)

And of course now that Kakashi and Obito have some alone time, Kakashi will use Friendship no Jutsu and reveal the real reason why he killed Rin.

There is a big difference between having a friendship speech that incites one to act verses MAGICALLY OBTAINING POWERS THROUGH FRIENDSHIP (which is bullshit writing).
Also, the friendship speeches are way more sappy and have been happening in pretty much every single chapter Naruto has been in for the last few months.

Hmm yeah I do agree with both of you. They're wayyy overdone and not to mention the other characters' reactions are pretty unnatural too. I guess they just don't do it with the same flair as in one piece, because i was pretty sure that Luffy powered up during a short span of time in the Water 7 arc too. That was done beautifully, so I'm just looking at Naruto now and wondering why i'm not feeling the same effect here, where it's also basically Naruto going all out when his comrades are in danger. It's probably just the way it's been presented to us - it's more implicit in One Piece whereas here they try to put it too much in-your-face.
